The fight being in Birmingham i got a fright thinking it could have been Frankie Gavin that was until I realised that Kal or Gamal Yafai will probably be chief support

Yh, he’a gonna get some local’s to fill the card. TBH, Khan’s a big enough draw himself, but will be good.

so Amir will fight September 8 in birmingham, no opponent named as yet but speculation is Samuel Vargas

I must have been imagining empty seats when he beat Kotelnik and that guy in Sheffield. Thousands of them.

There were shed loads of empty seats because they closed off the top tier and upgraded my tickets free.

At the last show in liverpool iv not anything like it for a long time,there were crowds 6 deep outside the hilton waiting
for a glimpse of him.It was a bit mad and something i didnt expect at all

Birmingham is a really hard sell as i know first hand but iv got a feeling Khan will sell it out like he did last time he was here

Amir Khan is a draw, that is that.
Did I say he wasn't a draw? All I said was he has a large Asian following which he has. At Braehead there was loads of Asian supporters there and they weren't there for anyone else apart from Khan. And there was one yellow and 4 black yeah :doh:

I was at that one mate. Was in same hotel as Kevin Mitchell. There was a lot of coked up Geordies causing shite at that. I was with my ex wife and ended up standing with these local lads and I disappeared to the toilet more than once :lol: She was not happy! Always wondered why that marriage never worked out :lol:

I was sat with loads of Jewish dudes from Gateshead. They were scrapping before and after the fight.
