So is this true?

This is the next fight for Wilder?

Breazeale passes for a top contender these days & if Wilder can't get Joshua right now, it would be a good fight for him to take.

I can't envisage Wilder blowing Breazeale away without breaking sweat, so it should give him another good workout, which is what he needs.

The WBC and Haymon aren't going to risk The Bronze Bomber's unbeaten record and subsequently the mega-money that could be earned from a potential Joshua-Wilder super-fight, by allowing the American to face a legitimately dangerous opponent.

Did you know that every single world heavyweight title fight (barring one) that Wilder has engaged in throughout the entire course of his career has been against a fellow Al Haymon stablemate?

And Breazeale is yet another PBC fighter for Wilder to face.

I'm guessing that's the reason why the WBC allowed Breazeale to jump the queue ahead of Dillian Whyte.

Wilder said he isn’t pursuing Breazeale however knows he’s mandao, so he will be ready anyway. He said they have unfinished business.

If this fight happens next, Breazeale won’t have fought in a year I think.

Whyte is the mandatory, not Brazeale. Wilder has been offered career high payday (double his best $$$) to fight Whyte and won't consider it.
Brazeale is an AJ cast off, and AJ was pretty raw back then. Wilder Brazeale is a nothing fight.

Seems like WBC don’t know who their own mando is. However, as Whyte is already fighting Parker, Breazeale is next? No?

Correct. Whyte took the Parker fight after the WBC screwed him out of fighting Wilder. It's a travesty.

Whyte was never the mandatory at any time. He won a secondary belt within a few days of the Breazeale - Molina fight. A fight that was at the time to every person in the arena, announced as an eliminator for to determine a shot at the title. Whyte chose voluntarily to fight Parker rather than Ortiz for WBC mandatory position or Pulev for IBF mandatory position.

Wilder does not want to fight Breazeale. Will not fight him unless he is forced to. They cannot be in the same room without being physically restrained. Breazeale is suing Wilder for allegedly attacking his family.

He will fight Breazelle. It will satisfy the WBC mandatory for another year.
It's not that high risk so it will be made soon

Everything with Wilder is huge risk.
And I keep hearing that for the last 40 fights. And he has won them all. I have no doubt he beats Breazelle

Wilder vs Joshua isn't happening. Thanks Eddie

Whyte would lose to Ortiz, Pulev and in a few weeks Parker.

Also add in Povetkin and Miller and probably more.

Breazeale is awful, but he is a legitimate contender in this pathetic era. Can't blame Wilder for any of his "weak" fights from here on out really; this would be a great matchup between champ and top contender.

Whyte isn't overrated; it's just that he's done everything asked of him & he still can't get a shot.

Whyte isn't great, but he will take a difficult fight without any questions.

Surely such fighters should be given a break?

Overall, Whyte's pretty much still lives off staggering Joshua.

Nevertheless he was KO'd

Nice highlight reel KO of Browne too. But is Browne truly a top 10 guy?

So many things annoy me these days.

One of them is why do they take so long to make these super fights? Both Joshua, and especially Wilder look somewhat vulnerable, so they may as well make the big fight now before someone else cleans their clock.

Breazeale is an excellent option for the moment. But I'm not sure, that Wilder will definitely take the fight against somebody from 10-15. Yeah, he finally fought Ortiz. However, the drama of that fight can be a good reason for Wilder to take up his old style of defending.

Exactly.

You'd have thought these guys would have learned the lesson for the Lennox Lewis/Riddick Bowe 'saga', but alas not.

It's now getting to the point whereby I'm starting veer towards thinking that I hope one of them loses so that the fight doesn't end up as the money spinner that it would be right now.
