Hopefully they have something in the contract where Broner has to keep winning or they'll drop him because there is absolutely no f*cking way, he makes 10 Million a fight against anybody.

Wouldn't be surprised if he f*cks up and goes to jail before the deal is completed.

For all the Mayweather haters out there, this one might take Mayweather promotions don't with it. Extremely bad idea.
That's about how I see it too. There is no division for Broner. He has proved that. He also can't stay out of trouble.
On the positive side, this deal will give his many bastard kids a future. And maybe Floyd will nurture his investment- mentor and train him?
The other question I have is;
If Broner gets 10 mill a fight, how much does his opponent get, and what sort/level of opponent will settle for way less than that dork.
Wasnt jay z as stupid as tmt giving 40 million or more for a contract of a handfull of ward fight? Which was incredibly stupid since ward never was a tv draw.

Well it's Mayweather's money. Maybe he made the deal while drunk or hung over.

Or maybe he and his advisors gave it careful consideration and believe it's fair deal that will reap profits.

Or maybe it was the $50 million that was laying around unused after Finkel and Haymon offered it to Joshua a few weeks back.

he made 1m vs vargas i think, that seems much more in line with his worth as a draw

whatever it is, seems like a huge deal for ab, will be interesting to see how it unfolds and if it gets to the end

Pretty much. Good comparison, except for Ward not having such a large fan base and also being capable of producing wins at the top level.

Does it make you think there is some fine print clauses in the contract about "no win, no $$$"?

Maybe the numbers arent 100 % correct.

Floyd is known to be a lier. I think broner aint the most honest either. Cant imagine 50 million for ab.

something like that. that getting the total 50m would require him to fulfill conditions that might be hard to do. something could be in there like , if he loses, they have the right to withdraw whatever part of the deal is left

of course i dont know if thats the case, but its certainly something i think is a possibility with seemingly such a big overpayment

id suspect there would be some sort of clauses on a long term contract anyway...its too much involved for the ppl giving the money not to have something to fall back on if the guy is obviously not delivering or living up to things (whether through poor performances, not wanting to fight enough ,etc)

Yeah, your onto it Jammy.
"If it seems too good to be true"
And with Broner's ego, he probably thinks forfilling 5 fights worth if must win obligations is a done deal
Ha ha ha, bless his little wandering penis

Is he guaranteed $50 million or is that the most he could earn depending on results?

Did anybody consider a possibility that 50M is a number for public, while in reality it could be way less than that?

I think you are probably right. It could be 50 million if the stars align perfectly and everything falls into place.
But it's Broner. No way does he make everything turn out perfect

He is a lying drug addict bastard

If it was true there would have been a big Media press release and press conference from Mayweather promotions
