They seem to be growing and doing fine. They can't do any business in the republic of ireland but in belfast it seems like they can get the big fights on.

They are not the biggest fish on the Isles, but they do seem to have an air of professionalism about them. I watch a bit of their content on YouTube and find it good for the most part as well..
The more shows in the UK, and having the chance to branch further afield, the more chances and experience young up and coming fighters get.
As long as they pay the guys, and look after the safety aspects, I wish them all the best.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t last. They seem to be going well. At the same time, I don’t know anything about the alleged dodgy element of the outfit. From a purely boxing perspective, they seem to have a lot going for them.

Do a google search and look at the suggestions.

Obviously until money laundering in boxing is investigated they'll be fine, they'll continue to pay well over the odd also. Thats how money laundering works.

They can't do any of their business in the republic of Ireland. Ever again I'd say. Hotels pulled out of their last attempt. Major damage was done to the sport in the republic. Macklin himself is quite unpopular among general Irish boxing fans that I know. However the sport is thriving in Belfast.

Aye we need drug dealing money laundering gangsters who result in masked men armed with assault rifles turning up and firing indiscriminately at public events.

Well it's a big thing in the republic. I mean, boxing is effectively banned in the country when you think about it. the amount of negative press that the MTK gym got was too much so they did a media ban on Ireland which may have actually been a good move because there is too much bad sentiment over the shootings in Ireland and the impact on irish boxing has been heavy. Macklin did pave the way for those lads to get legitimately into the sport and that does stick on him a bit in ireland i think, but they do always mention he has no involvemnt in crime but at the end of the day when you look at MTK most of the boxers associated with it seem to be happy. So I have mixed views because they do good for the boxers. As for Seamus last time i saw him he was giving Stalker instructions in the corner for the Caterall fight. He seemed to go off the radar but im sure he probably still trains fighters at the MTK gym

Yeah Seamus was doing more interviews than Joe Gallagher and Eddie Hearn at one point like you suddenly went off radar.

Will there next Step at MTK to rival matchroom etc in promoting huge shows?? Now that
Would be fun . Seem to attract big names
And still in infancy

 I imagine their business model and practises are right at home over there. I'm sure it's just coincidence it will give them contacts right on the border of the worlds largest opium producer and that the combat sport worlds in the 'Stans are the preserve of gangsters.
