Yeah 168 is reasonably solid at the moment. They keep digging up every unbeaten pretender they can find though.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑27 Jun 2018, 18:25Too protected.. hasn’t even defended againt a former world chsmpion even. Coukd have easily had a few good names.

It amazes me where they keep finding these guys. Surely they have to run out eventually.gilgamesh wrote: ↑27 Jun 2018, 18:49Yeah 168 is reasonably solid at the moment. To no surprise squares are looking at Angulo's gaudy record and knocking the betting line down because they're too lazy to actually search for video. Zurdo opened at -4750 and is now -1600. It might get down to close to -1000 when smart players will pounce and knock it back up to around -2500.
Re: Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez vs. Roamer Alexis Angulo - June 30, 2018
3 of his last 4 have been trash. hes not without any decent wins, but these types of mismatches arent interesting at all
Re: Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez vs. Roamer Alexis Angulo - June 30, 2018
Too right, Jammy.
Check out the disparity between the two of them, and tell me this unbeaten unknown with a host of unknown opponents is not going to be yet another overmatched victim of the mighty Zurdo

I'm starting to get a right Chickenson on with this dork. Plenty of top SMW's out there, but bottom feeder ignores them.
"I want to unify the division!"
Yeah right mate

LMAO. Look how small this dude is.
Re: Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez vs. Roamer Alexis Angulo - June 30, 2018
that guys listed at 6'1 , more like 5'1
Re: Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez vs. Roamer Alexis Angulo - June 30, 2018
If he's 6'1, Zurdo is Shaquille O'Neal. He is at least 4 inches shorter. Zurdo is 6'2 which means this dude is no more than 5'10. Take a look at the rest of the photos. He's probably 6 inches smaller. Disgraceful. Wonder if this is even the same guy. Could be the dude's cousin or something.

Somebody's 0 will probably go, and that somebody figures to be Angulo.
Despite Angulo's outwardly glossy record, oddsmakers tab Zurdo Ramirez as an overwhelming 1-50 favorite.
It's not unusual these days to see plenty supposedly high profile bouts as complete mismatches.
Every week on television we watch fights where one fighter is as much as a 1-100 choice.
As a matter of fact, a few weeks down the road, Andy Ruiz--not exactly a great fighter---is nevertheless a 1-100 choice over one time fringe contender Kevin Johnson.
So the lopsided odds favoring Ramirez tomorrow don't look nearly as laughable in comparison.
Despite his ranking, Angulo has apparently never fought anyone remotely close to contender status.
Ramirez should look great, score a KO by the halfway point, and the ESPN ringside talking heads will breathlessly wonder whether Zurdo might be considered the next Mexican ATG.
Arum will say he is, because Arum has never promoted a fighter who isn't the finest fighter he ever saw.

Gary Ritter of Oklahoma, will be the referee of the fight. Ritter, who has worked as a referee in professional boxing for 17 years, has been the third man in the ring for world title fights in Japan, Mexico and the United States.
Javier Álvarez, of Texas, David Sutherland, of Oklahoma and Levi Martínez, of New Mexico, were appointed judges for the bout.

Ya gotta love how stupid the public is. Zurdo opens at -4500. People see Angulo's record, bet him all the way down to -1450. Weigh-ins happen and they see Angulo is about 6 inches shorter than he is listed. Odds move back to -4500.
Idiots. Seriously.

My online book never changes.
Zurdo opened -5000 and it remains the same on fight day.
Better odds to win by KO, however.
It opened at -300. Today it's -275.
Zurdo hasn't scored too many stoppages in recent times.
He should get one tonight.

Lines move based on the action a book is receiving on an event. I use 5Dimes. They get a lot of traffic. Not sure what book you use. May be one that doesn’t get a lot of combat sports wagering. 5Dimes gets a lot because they offer extensive wagering options on those exotic sports that some others don’t.

Bet365 and TheGreek (which isn't taking action on tonight's fight).
Bet365 is UK based so some of the lesser American title fights (like tonight's) take limited action.
But it gives good value when betting against British fighters. Usually better than American books.
