What type of outcome do you expect to see in GGG vs Canelo rematch ?
IMO I think Canelo will outspeed and outbox clearly Golovkin winning by UD.
Re: What type of outcome do you expect to see in GGG vs Canelo rematch ?
I guess, Canelo will outbox Golovkin. The fight itself should be close though, similar to the 1st one, but now clearly in Canelo's favor. Maybe with the judges' help it will be wider on the scorecards. But all that stuff can realize only with a one important "if". If Canelo engages more. Of course, there will be more chances to land a crucial shot for Golovkin. But Canelo also can take a punch. And probably Canelo will be able not to allow Golovkin to do it. If Canelo acts like in the 1st fight, I don't see him winning. Well, objectively, without looking on the scorecards, cause the judges can privode some crap again.

Yeah I think Canelo will try to box more. Probably he's gonna use all he learned from the FMJ fight against GGG.DrDuke wrote: ↑01 Jul 2018, 05:05 I guess, Canelo will outbox Golovkin. Close decision for Canelo, this time without some big controversy. Fight will be even more entertaining than first one IMO

A lot depends on how that cheat Canelo performs without (quite so many) drugs in his system. Here’s hoping for a GGG win by brutal ko.

..whatever, just hope Canelo is clean and it won't go to the score cards..

The most important thing that I want is the judges to score corectly and be unbiased in this rematch.

If GGG will hurt/stop Canelo then it will be a solid proof that gingerboy is clean.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑01 Jul 2018, 08:40 A lot depends on how that cheat Canelo performs without (quite so many) drugs in his system. Here’s hoping for a GGG win by brutal ko.

Judges will not get their chance to screw things up. Canelo's only hope is the ref.apollo creed wrote: ↑01 Jul 2018, 09:39 The most important thing that I want is the judges to score corectly and be unbiased in this rematch.![]()

Due to a combination of Canelo's good evasive skills and solid chin and, Canelo's unexceptional punching power and GGG's granite chin, I think this one probably goes the distance again. We know Canelo has the faster hands and GGG has the better stamina. I thought GGG clearly won the first fight (I had it 8-4), if I had to make a guess for the rematch I'd have GGG winning by points again, but in a slightly closer fight. That said, Canelo almost certainly get's the nod if the fight is close, so I guess my pick is Canelo in a close and controversial decision. What I want to happen is GGG to win by knockout.

With these judges you just never know. Boxing might sucker its fan base, giving GGG the points win whether he deserves it this time or not, forcing a rubber match.

Also I don't rule out a close fight with some controversy which could pave the way for a 3rd fight.

Canelo learns from the first fight, adapts, grows in confidence about his ability to cope with GGG's power and scores a close unanimous decision.
Golovkin's age means that he won't be quite as effective in the rematch than the first bout.
If the fight took place during Cinco de Mayo 2018, as originally planned, I might have favoured the Kazakh.

I think Canelo wins ... even if he doesn't.

Canelo gets beat up and loses by UN decision or by Tko after absorbing a beating either way its gonna be good.

Re: What type of outcome do you expect to see in GGG vs Canelo rematch ?
GGG cannot win by a decision. To do so would mean giving Canelo such a one sided beating that the fight would have to be stopped on medical grounds - in which case it won't be going to points.
I can't see Canelo changing tactics when he knows a win or at least a draw is the bag if he finishes on his feet. Furthermore if he survives this one then he will be the clear favourite in the event of a third fight. A pity because if Canelo fought 'Mexican Style' it would give most fans the fight they want.
Golovkin knows he can't leave it to the judges. He should try to start better and begin dismantling Canelo with body shots from the get go. It's a huge challenge because he's also up against Father Time, but on the other hand Canelo might well be coming in clean this time.
All things considered, I expect another robbery by the judges after 12 rounds of fruitless chasing around the ring because Canelo won't be coming to fight.

I know this is wishful thinking but I am hoping that GGG learned from the first fight that Cnelo can't hurt him. I am hoping he goes for the KO straight from the start.
I am really hoping for KO from either guy.
I don't want to see boxing shooting its own leg by blatantly showing the corruption in huge fight like this.

What it would be interesting to see is if GGG is gonna go to the body and if this thing will affect Canelo.
GGG has great body shots but from whatever reason (maybe his conservation instinct to not get countered) he didn't use them.
