Cobb: Don't worry about me I thought you broke your hands beating me half to death
Cobb was always hilarious

Frank Bruno said in one of his early autobiographies that he went up to Stuart Lithgo after beating him to commiserate with him. A revved up Lithgo was having none of it, spat blood on Bruno’s boots and said “you are still f**king nothing.”

This was before their fights:
GGG to Canelo in 2016 "I want wbc belt"
Canelo: "Si senor triple G!"
After 1 year Canelo is fighting GGG.
GGG to Canelo after the fight: "I win, I'm champion"
Canelo
to GGG: "I thought you were older enough to beat you."

When I was 17, I fought a dude from Rochester, NY who was said to be in his early 30's and had been around a long, long time. I was pounding his body in the corner, digging left and right hooks to the body.... he says.
"... WORK IT, baby! .... but not too hard.... "
The next round, I end up on the inside again with him... he says...
".... MAN, ENUFF!!..."
Followed by a tight clinch and proceeds to BITE ME harder than a MOFO on my shoulder. Looking back, that shit was funny... fun times.

That sounds like somebody from a Punchout game.

That's the most interesting one I can think of that broadcast mics picked up. I think he was just trying to tell him to keep his chin up and go back to being middleweight champion, but it came out quite a bit more intense than that.clopixolacuphase wrote: ↑04 Jul 2018, 10:47 B Hop really put it on Pavlik. I don’t know everything he said but he said something like “I’m a real dude” and “bend your damn knees”
Pavlik looked like he wanted to cry. Hopkins had no mercy.

yes, i think b hop liked pavlik & wanted to build him back up again.... didn't happen.

Right after Foreman vs Holyfield (and before the decision announcement) you can plainly hear George say to Holy, "thanks for the opportunity, you won," or something to that effect.

James butler to Richard grant:
"Great scrap old chap. Tis an honor to lose to such fine gentleman."
