Kal Yafai suspended by Calafornia state athletic commision.....

Over 4 months away. Anybody have any idea why that is? His last fight was in Calafornia and it will be 4 days shy of a 6 month suspension from the day of his last fight.

Anyone thinking what I'm thinking here?

The other suspensions we discussed on here before were I think to do with guys being suspended as they had been stopped and had to have x amount of time without a bout.

It will likely be for some injury he picked us during the fight.

It quite often happens in the US, particularly with the UFC, where fighters sustain an injury (a cut or something) and are then provisionally suspended for 3/6/9 months unless they get a Doctor to sign off that they can return earlier than that.
