Is there any chance we can correct the time that appears against forum posts. It is about 5 hours out and is confusing.

Not sure if you have but you can alter your time zone under settings. I had the same problem Miles, but I managed to change the time after some fiddling about.
This is how I did it:
1 Click on the downward pointing arrow next to your username
2 Click "User Control Panel"
3 Click "Board Preferences" and a table with a drop down menu with timezones should appear
4 Set the correct time and press reset/submit
