Durica looks like an old guy, Benn took first but he swings wild and out of range.

Hardly anything but at least he's holding a nice shape and actually trying to work off the jab. The first time I saw him he looked like a white collar fighter( didn't have a clue)

That 3rd round was a bit closer, Rudolf put up a bit of a fight but there is no power from either boxer.

Safe to say that Benn is going know where. Will be shocked if he wins a southern area even with his surname

39 to 38

no power at all. Benn only has had 4 fights but to be honest he should be knocking over this kind of boxer.

Or at the least be taking every round. There looked at least a weight class difference in there

Only saw first two rounds on my lunch break. Looked a very evenly matched & lively bout between two domestic level fighters.

Just saw Thain was out pointed by Ekundayo. Did anyone see the fight? How'd it go? Fair decision?

You can imagine the promoter ringing the matchmaker - get me the oldest, smallest, worse record boxer you can find : oh, and pay him a few quid extra to make sure he doesn’t get any ideas of trying to win.

yep it was pretty wide to be honest.I had it close after 6 rounds but there was hardly anything in the rounds. From then on Ekundayo landed the cleaner shots and Thain pretty much couldnt get his shots off.Wasnt a very good fight.

There was a cracking 10 rounder for the Southern Area title though. Romford's Mikey Sakyi (5-2) stopped undefeated Hackney based Turk Siar Ozgul (14-0).Sakyi completely turned it around in the final round with a massive left hand right from the bell.Ozgul staggered back, managed to stay on his feet and Sakyi piled on the onslaught.Jeff Hinds did a fantastic job he gave the undefeated lad every possible opportunity to recover and had no choice but to step in and stop it.Huge win for Sakyi.

Last nights card is what's wrong with boxing. apart from the main event every fight you knew the outcome before they even boxed. Ozgul vs Sakyi was a surprise but even then Sakyi was behind in the fight until he pulled it out the bag in the last. Danny Dignum fight got stopped in the second as the ref didn't want to see anymore as I don't think the other fighter threw a punch all of the round. Benn boxed a man who looked at least a weight division lighter and Boy Jones Jr boxed in a 4 rounder in his 19th fight against someone with a record of 9 wins 38 losses and 5 draws. At £40 a ticket who in their right mind is gonna keep on supporting these boxers when the nights entertainment is so poor. Fair enough you got boys just learning the game boxing journeyman in the early stages of their careers but a lot of fighters don't want to take the step up and be in tough fights against other prospects. It's frustrating as this can only be a bad thing for boxing. Some boxers need to ask themselves are they in this for their own ego ( telling everyone there a pro) or do they actually want to do something in the sport cos I think if they were honest with themselves quite a few would say ego. Sad really. Sorry for the long rant

Boy Jones fight was cringe-worthy given the size difference between the two. The opponent would have needed one of the corner steps to reach his head. Not sure why allegedly wants to show MTK shows, most of their undercards are rubbish.full of Journeymen just there to survive.
