I think their purses demand a PPV. To make it better value, it's a stacked card.

Agree with that....I think this fight is woth my money.

Opinions vary but I am personally looking forward to this fight and I'm happy to pay for it.

God knows I have paid for some worse PPV's than this

It's well worth a split and a night in on the beers for 3 or 4 us, looking forward to it. I think it could be a good fight.

This. It's only a few quid and the Takam-Chisora fight is going to be a belter.

Is it just me that thinks Chisora v Takam will be a stinker? Del Boy just seems to try and survive nowadays.

Yeh, he only tried to win against Whyte cuz there was legit beef, even then, he didn't try every round. He gassed out and used every other round as a rest period, which kinda lost him the fight, I still had him winning.

Less than a month out and Parker is very close to his fighting weight. He knows what to do this time.
Sometimes it takes the hurt of a loss to wake up a fighter.
I expect to see a really offensive Parker this time out. He learned to be defensive with Joshua, and that kept him conscious, now he needs to add his fire back into the ring.
The last time I saw Whyte go the distance, he was slow by 10, I think that is when Parker stops him*

*Internet call, I'm not putting money on it

Parker is one of the most boring fighters in boxing. Inside and outside the ring. His last 4 performances have been woeful and boring. His interviews are boring. The guy is just one of the most boring guys in boxing.

Chisora vs Takam on the undercard makes this one an OK deal for me. So I would buy it if I was UK resident.

ON a side note if it takes that 40 bucks a month sky subscription then I would say hell no. I would never pay that kind of money for TV.

I think he comes across as a very decent human being with a professional approach.
I don’t think I’d describe his personality as boring, he’s just a little quiet. I much prefer that to the nonsense screaming and tipping over tables etc. and I generally enjoy watching his contests.

If IF either fighter came out and demolished the other in a round or two would that change your perception of Joshua?

Or just of the fighters involved?

No, whinging is what Columbians do.

When they are not powdering their noses and dishing out headbutts, of course

David Haye set to help Joseph Parker prepare for heavyweight fight with Dillian Whyte

David Haye will risk the wrath of Dillian Whyte as he is set to welcome Joseph Parker to his gym – and may even be asked for tactical advice, says the Kiwi's promoter.

The former WBO champion is expected to return to Haye's training base in Vauxhall to complete the last two weeks of his training camp for a crucial heavyweight clash with Whyte at The O2 on July 28, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Parker had previously used the gym to prepare for the points loss to Anthony Joshua in March, although news of Haye's assistance is likely to anger Whyte, who has said his fellow Londoner "never tries to support anything I do."

"Same as usual, Park Plaza, the Riverbank hotel, and as far as I know, he'll be using the same David Haye gym," said Parker's promoter David Higgins, when asked about his training base.

"David seems to have been very good to us from our first fight up there. David's been very helpful, we're very grateful.

"David has been very accommodating. I'm sure that he and Joseph will discuss tactics and stuff like that. The use of the facilities has been invaluable, they are private, hidden and quiet, and near the hotel."

Higgins believes Parker has endeared himself to Haye, but he is expecting a far more hostile approach from fellow Brit Whyte as fight week draws closer.
WATCH! @DillianWhyte has been practising his knockout power in the gym this week 🥊💥

"I think that Dillian Whyte's permanently p****d off," said Higgins. "He's a fiery sort of guy and it will be interesting to see how that goes in the ring.

"I'm sure Dillian does understand that Joe does need to use a gym. It's business and Haye understands that it's business.

"Everyone likes Joseph, he's a likeable guy. Haye and our team get on well."

Joe and Haye are mates.
They met on the streets of London during one of the early pressers for the Fury fight. I'm not sure about Haye giving training tips though.

So the undercard has gotten a lot worse in the last few days, anyone still think this show is PPV worthy?

It certainly isn’t at the moment.

EH has a big couple of days coming up - needs to really find a good fight to add and a good opponent for Buatsi as well as the DAZN announcement on Tuesday.

Kell Brook is out injured by all accounts (although it’s yet to be officially confirmed) and Ricky Summers has pulled out of the fight against Buatsi.

IT was never PPV worthy in the first place.

Only just read about Brook. The show doesn't even need to be PPV to finance it with him off the card.

What a joke.

Well.... the undercard matches that have fallen through weren’t going to be competitive anyway so in the grand scheme of things little has changed.
I want to see the contest so I’ll be buying it.
