This fight was action packed and very violent.
Unbeaten WBA light flyweight world champion Carlos “CCC” Canizales (21-0-1, 17 KOs) of Venezuela prevented Lu Bin (1-1, 1 KO) of China from becoming only the first boxer in history to win a world title in his second bout on Saturday night at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Canizales dropped Bin in round eleven, then finished him in the final round with another knockdown. The end came at 2:59, just one second from the final bell.
Carlos Canizales was awesome last night
Re: Carlos Canizales was awesome last night
Stylistically he had the advantage. He is so good at countering and then moving to create angles... controls the distance well that way too with body work from distance. He has developped a very efficient offensive game and executes it perfectly... I'd say he is one of the best in the sport right now at executing a winning gameplan. It was a tall order for Lu Bin.

If you've not seen it I suggest you watch his bout with Konishi, that was, IMO, even better!chuck9788 wrote: ↑15 Jul 2018, 08:57 This fight was action packed and very violent.

Not a world champion.
Hekkie Budler is WBA light flyweight champion.

Lu Bin looked like an amateur.
Re: Carlos Canizales was awesome last night
he had his moments. Whacked in some meaty body shots. He was just overwhelmed by the constant power and pressure. I think most guys would have been as well. I haven't seen 12 rounds of heavy leather like Carlos was throwing for ages. Most impressive.

Me too!
It didn't look that great on paper, but I finished up feeling like I had me money's worth. And a fight that ends in a TKO in round 12 at 2:59 minutes- classic! Even Buffy was shagrin when he read out the time
