Eubank Jnr to replace Brook

Post by horndawg80 »

On 28th July
I saw it on the Sky Sport Mix advert earlier for Whyte vs Parker
No joke.

No announcement - I don’t get it. Can’t be Ryder as he said he wants centre stage and full camp.

Jamie Cox??

Against a knockover at two weeks notice. Then his dad can say he will be TBE after the fight.

Yeah that makes this card PPV worthy.

Instagram boxer who will never beat top level opposition.

No thanks.

Fights getting cancelled and trying to hide it from the public etc.

Is this PPV a new low for Hearn?

I genuinely think the Bellew v Cleverly 2 PPV was a better card than this. Utter horse shit.

Hearn's reasoning for it being justified as PPV on the Toe 2 Toe podcast was infuriating too, saying Dillian deserved a payday so he wanted to give it to him.

No way as long as I have a hole in my arse is this PPV worthy. PPV fights, as Hearn suggested before they became the norm, are, or should be, reserved for fights which can't be made without it. With all due respect, if Dillian Whyte v Joseph Parker can't be made without PPV while selling out the O2, Hearn is paying far, far too much.

Absolute bollocks. No outcry for this, it's merely a decent fight which should be a Saturday fight night.

Eubank wants to hold out for WBSS final so the right decision than to fight some gatekeeper to save this PPV.

The Brook fight wasn't interesting at all but suppose Eubank would have brought the circus act and would have attracted few more PPVs.

Webb vs Joyce is a nice fight but it really does need something else to warrant people buying this PPV

The thing about Joe Joyce is that he always stays in shape so he's always ready to go. I see him stopping Webb in 4 here.

I didn't really believe this rumour.

Never say never, but I can't see Hearn being in a huge rush to work with the Eubanks again.

Eubank Jr will pick up a couple wins against low level opposition, then get a title shot and fall short again.

I would have preferred to see him drop down to middleweight and try and get in the mix on the other side of the pond.

still no confirmation about brook but if he is injured and out to November, he's had a disaster of a year. Not that the fight was any great shakes but it was at least another fight AT LMW before hopefully stepping up in opposition later in the year.

Sam Eggington is the replacement for Brook against Cook.
Fights like this will do nothing for the card. Anyone interested?

Better than Brook vs Cook.

Still an absolute garbage PPV though.

If it was £10 it would be okay, but this is not even close to £20 material.

I think it will be a good fight. Both fairly limited and like to have a go.

Are his international ambitions interfering with his domestic shows?

His domestic fighters seem to be more inactive than usual and often directionless.

British boxing seems to have so much potential right now, but it appears like most of it is being squandered.

Apart from it being an even match up then I see nothing good about this for chief support of a PPV (However think Taylor fight will be pushed to that)
Both are limited, relatively unknown and probably since Brook pulled out were eying this fight for September. A week to prepare for it now! Happy to be proven wrong ....

Not buying this tripe. Have a kid free night next Sat so hopefully one of my mates will stick it on but I'm not too fussed either way.
