Joshua Got The Ump
Joshua Got The Ump
He wasn't happy, was he.
Re: Joshua Got The Ump
Cracks appearing in the thin façade of intensive media training and manufactured 'umble innit
Re: Joshua Got The Ump
Big Baby is being groomed as AJ fodder down the line. Eddie playing the long game.

No doubt, and it might not be for too long down the track either.
It will be interesting to see whether Big Baby is allowed to enter the ring and call Joshua out, like Wilder wasn't.
Re: Joshua Got The Ump
This will be the fight he will sign when the Wilder fight doesn't go.ahead
Re: Joshua Got The Ump
Staged. Rubbish beef, Joshua would knock 7 bells out of the fat lad.

Of course. Joshua has been trained extensively in media. He knows what to do. He "lost his cool" with a tubby heavyweight that he would beat up easily. Smart move by Hearn because people will buy into it.
Avoiding Wilder remains the highest priority.
Re: Joshua Got The Ump
It's not so much avoiding Wilder, it's mapping a career path with, or without him. As far as money fights, there are only 3 out there for AJ at the moment.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑18 Jul 2018, 03:09

Wilder- no need for hype, it sells itself
Whyte/Parker winner- Whyte sells itself, Parker will probably have to have another win.
Miller- which needs hype

4. Tyson Fury - Fury needs another couple of wins but the fight then sells itself massively. I suspect part of Hearn/Joshua will be keen for Fury to stay active and step up opposition across the end of this year as there is a (very slim) chance the April date could be Joshua v Fury if Wilder doesn't happen.KiwiRider wrote: ↑18 Jul 2018, 03:18It's not so much avoiding Wilder, it's mapping a career path with, or without him. Re: Joshua Got The Ump
If Joshua had remained polite under that from Miller I'd be more concerned.....
Can be the nicest guy in the world when spoken to with respect, but a monster should always emerge if disrespected.
Miller is a fat f*ck who came to mouth off, Joshua acted the way any fighter should have acted. Ready to take the head off of the man that challenged him. And lets be honest, we all know there is an 'edge' to Joshua that he keeps hidden most of the time....but how many men who fight for a living don't have an 'edge' to them.
Eddie has Miller lined up as an American option if Wilder continues to mess about and stall on making the unification. And if Wilder does come to terms then no worries cus Whyte can always go and bust Millers bubble. Miller's lack of conditioning and power will show itself when he's in with a genuinely live opponent.

Re: Joshua Got The Ump
Miller is fat, slow and has no power at all because he can only throw arm punches. Some one needs to teach him how to throw a proper punch. Unless it's just a clear lack of stamina.

Re: Joshua Got The Ump
The heavyweight division is a fvcking circus. All these fighters making a show of themselves get the big fights on and stop all this bollocks. Povpedkin nearly got done by the plumber from Liverpool, Joshua should blitz him. Miller has got to prove himself at the top level to deserve this payday so we get this show to build a fight.

That's wasn't fake, he had a right to be pissed off too.
Re: Joshua Got The Ump
Miller was giving it the big one trying to overshadow the Joshua vs Povetkin announcement, Joshua was within his rights to take exception.
He may well be a decent bloke when in a relaxed environment, but he ain't no choir boy and if/when the time comes he will put Big Baby on his fat ass.
Although I do quite like Miller, just a shame he is such a poorly conditioned, feather fisted, mediocre boxer.
