John Wayne Hibbert Vs Dave Ryan, any of them. All brilliant fights that had you on the edge of your seat.

Tommy Coyle Vs Luke Campbell - thought Tommy fought his heart out, ultimately came up short but (I thought) gave a good account of himself.

George Brennan vs Brett Fidoe - 2 razor thin fights with both men showing great skill and even more grit to keep them going.

Travis Dickinson v matty Clarkson was ridiculous. Never have you been able to feel pain through looking at somebody else's face the way you could when Clarkson was digging into Dickinson's body. Amazing fight with see sawing knockdowns before Clarkson got stopped.

+1 - forgot about that but what a fight. Seem to remember it was on a Coldwell Boxing show around the same time as the Kieran Farrell/Anthony Crolla fight (maybe even the same card?) - that was another great scrap.

I am with Mimmy..........Benn v Watson was a cracker and Mike boxed beautifully that night and tamed Nigel who was a guy on something of a rampage at the time and was extremely intimidating as well.

Hatton v Magee was a decent match-up and especially as Eammon was arguably the first man to come right back at Ricky and properly make him sweat and work. I still wish Eammon had got a few more breaks career-wise.

Eubank - Benn 2 was the most intense atmosphere I can remember.

In recent times, Frampton vs Quigg was up there in atmosphere alone, but the fight itself was so disappointing.

It was really disappointing. Was like a football match where neither team wants to lose! Neither of them committed. Frampton was happy to let Quigg come to him and Quigg wasn't for it especially after that uppercut that broke his jaw (was a lovely shot).

They should've tried to get Quigg for the Windsor Park show next month. I'm sure he'd have been up for it!

Yes I’m adamant it’s a classic. Benn hit Eubank with truly wicked, flush shots. Eubank’s chin was inhuman. He responded with speedy and accurate combinations reminiscent of Thai flyweight kingpin Sot Chitalada in his prime. Benn hit Eubank with shots that “hurt me up the guts” and he also “cut my tongue open” admitted Eubank in his hilarious post fight interview which he cut short with “I need to go to the hospital.” Strange how so many YouTube experts call it an easy win for Eubank and a one sided one.

This is the fight that showed Eubank how hard boxing was and he was terrible in his subsequent title defenses. Like he wasn’t willing to “go there.” Obviously the epic and terrible rematch with Watson is an even more unbelievable battle and in his followed few fights Eubank again was tentative, half arsed, displaying little of the commitment he had already proven.

i think after Benn 1, Eubank didn’t show anything until Watson 2. And then after Watson 2, he showed very little until Close 2, Rocchigiani and then bugger all until Wharton... and then another bad spell, until the revelatory showing in the first Thompson fight. Eubank was so weird.
