Usyk vs. Gassiev on ITV PPV - Who’s buying?
We all knew it was going to be on PPV..
They’re not well known in the UK, apart from the odd times that Bellew said he would fight the winner..
This is for the hardcore boxing fans I guess. £9.95 isn’t bad at all for a fight of this calibre.
ITV could have promoted this better. They showed Usyk vs. Briedis on ITV Box Office free, most people watched it UK TV Player. Usyk vs. Dorts was ITV4. They should have tried to get ITV2 instead of 4..
Anyway.. question..
Anyone going to buy this?

Yep.

Definitely. One of the best fights available at any weight division.

The previous fights were free on Youtube in France. My plan is VPN, set country to france, Youtube.
Cost €5 for the months VPN (and I can watch the streaming football as well - 3pm kickoffs).

I would buy it for 10 if I had the option. Most interesting match so far in this year
Re: Usyk vs. Gassiev on ITV PPV - Who’s buying?
Aye, superb fight and absolutely deserving of PPV - unlike many other events that are sold as such.
Pisses all over every other PPV this year

had to vote no as I only have a freeview box and therefore cant get the ppv's. Would have paid no problem.
Re: Usyk vs. Gassiev on ITV PPV - Who’s buying?

Same here. Ridiculous system to be honest, thought they would be able to more than compete with Sky etc if they had the whole country as a market but by excluding us tight people who only have freeview they're being a bit shortsighted.

Did you just get the black screen like so many other people did? ITV are total amateurs.

This fight is worth a 10er.
ITV box office is always a pain in the ass to stream.
Its a top, top fight imo

Buzzing for this one, gonna be a long arse week waiting for it to come around, I think it about as 50/50 as you can get, I think Usyk has the patience and the skills, Gassiev is patient himself mind but carries more of a dig, I'm going with Usyk to win a close decision, I tipped him from the start and i'll stick with that even though my estimation of Gassiev has gone way up
I thought Usyk schooled Briedis even though most had it razor tight, I was surprised people had it close whereas Gassiev ended up destroying Dorticos after looking good throughout, I wouldn't be surprised to see a KO here but I fancy it to go the distance. I reckon its gonna be a thinking mans fight, nip/tuck all the way

I've not had much luck with ITV PPV so far but I can't NOT buy this. It's one of the best fights going just now so it's a must see. I don't see how this can fail to deliver

Mrs is away so I'd like to buy it, think my tv doesn't accommodate the ITV ppv for some reason I'll look in to it if I can I will

That's me out then too, knew I tried before and couldn't get it, hopefully some cheeky fcuker steams it live in youtube, happened with one of Jnr's fights I think.mfc_se15 wrote: ↑05 Jul 2018, 10:30Bigdogsnose wrote: ↑05 Jul 2018, 07:31 had to vote no as I only have a freeview box and therefore cant get the ppv's. Same. I don't have the platform to pay, so I will have to stream. But 100% I would pay for it. It's a brilliant fight.mfc_se15 wrote: ↑05 Jul 2018, 10:30Bigdogsnose wrote: ↑05 Jul 2018, 07:31 had to vote no as I only have a freeview box and therefore cant get the ppv's. Would have paid no problem.
