Andrew Selby

Anyone know what's happening with him? Seems like an age since he last fought and there doesn't appear to be anything on the horizon?

His brother losing doesn't help.
Doesn't sell tickets, not a puncher, damn good fighter, with a small hall promoter, tough sell

so a reporter on Twitter mentioned Selby vs another fighter has gone to purse bids for EU belt.

Selby replied saying really? as he doesn't fight anymore and if they want to know why they need to ask the board. Doesn't sound good

Reece McFadden has turned pro now and may make for a great fight on future after Reece beat him at Olympics. Andrew Selby is a great fighter just shame people would rather watch guys who talk garbage and do the wwe act.

Watched him as an amatuer as well. He was top class. Didn't he start assaulting folk away from the ring? Had a few issues I'm sure.

Enjoyed watching him in the unpaid ranks. Should flourish as a pro. Should've probably went pro earlier though.

Selby is back in training - not sure who or when he’s scheduled to fight. At 29 he has to get a wriggle on

Fred Evans - ticking along getting wins against journeymen, but unfortunately can’t see him making waves above British level, if that TBH

his brother craig actually boxed really well in russia vs some unbeaten russian who is now fighting for a title. unfortunetly he eventually got caught and stopped but up till then he was on form and ahead on the cards despite it being in russia. the evans seem to have good skills but not much power based on what ive seen.

The Selby`s suffer from not having a big Promoter behind them don't they.
Now Lee doesn't have a title and has never been a great ticket-seller I can see them both being frozen out for the foreseeable future.

True mate, look at Paddy Barnes. Title shot against a guy Selby has already beaten after 5 fights.

Going of his tweet, he's not retired, just seems like theres an issue with the board and him being licensed to fight.

Really good mate. Loads of pubs & clubs in the city centre, all pretty close to each other. We get loads of stag dos down here, so everywhere is used to dealing with large groups of lads.

The girls are mostly slags as well
