Scott Harrison

Post by Stuarty »

Released from prison yesterday and is hinting at a comeback at the age of 41! I hope he gets his head down and keeps out of bother but I've no desire to see him back in a boxing ring tbh. I was a big fan back in the day but his time has been and gone.

Thoughts?

Waiting for the stories from prison mates of his about ‘crisps everywhere’ to start trickling out.

He looks a really talented painter, he's still a young man with a young family, i'd like to see him go down that route

Good luck to him. He was a great fighter in his day and hopefully he'll find something else to do now, whether painting or even training fighters. As long as he stays out of trouble.

Not usually a fan of 41 year olds attempting a comeback, but if it gives him some focus and keeps him out of trouble then go for it.

He needs to earn a living as he is virtually bankrupt yeah?
I guess he is pretty unemployable, so short of having a book written about him or making an appearance on Love Island, he doesn't have a lot of options left.
On his name alone he will have a couple of paydays left

No guarantee he will get a licence. Id rather he didnt comeback its for all the wrong reasons. Needs to put boxing behind him now

he actually did pretty respectably vs walsh considering where he was at, i only had walsh winning by 3 and harrison was in a lot of the rounds even when he lost them. ran out of steam in that one a bit but still looked reasonably handy.

but even that was 5 years ago....

that said i have to admit id probably have an interest if he fought again, just for the curiosity of it at least at first

Alex Arthur should make a comeback and they can fight at welterweight! Winner gets the winner of the Lee McAlister v Danny Williams bout :bag:

He looks about 70 !

Generally speaking if blokes are acting that way at 40 then they are unlikely to change.

I reckon that by the time this weekend is out he will have been bladdered and had at least a couple of rows.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him pop up Vs Audley on a BIBA show for the ‘Undisputed Harrison Championship ’

He'd be a great reality TV star ! TV producers take note - you need your house/villa/dinner-party livened up with some terrifying death-stares ?

he should start hunting down conor mcgregor, two celtic badboys, one throws crisps, one throws trolleys....they both beat up easy victims in pubs, both canny control their temper.....they r probably evenly matched in a boxing contest, but because its them, we could let them away wi some rough stuff
scott harrison ko 5 , then maywather comes out of retirement to fight him cos he stopped mcgregor quicker...

That's worth a poll, give them both a 6 week training camp, and who wins, McGregor or Harrison

Harrison would fuckin murder him in a boxing match.....

Would be a bit of a viscous street fight wouldn't it! I imagine there would be a fair bit of gouging and biting involved.... :maybe:

I reckon Harrison will take the BIBA route should he box again, probably target the WBU or WBF titles. There’s probably still enough quality there for him to beat middling opposition and his name should ensure the shows would sell well...
