The "Montana Love" Act

Post by chuck9788 »

I believe that the judges missed 2 decisions last night. Although not nearly as awful as the Hamazaryan decision, I felt Kenneth Sims Jr (12-1-1, 4 KO's) was unfairly handed a DRAW vs Montana Love (11-0-1, 5 KO's). Sims had easily outworked Love.

Did you see Love's ring entrance? He was acting similarly to idiot Adrian Broner. Love's trainer held up a mirror so that Love could admire himself in the ring. I guess trying to emulate AB's (mis)behavior is now viewed by some as a smart public relations idea.

I find it hilarious that an ugly looking wannabe thug like Montana Love would adopt the ring nickname "Too Pretty"!! The idiotic mirror routine by his corner man came off as sissified.

It's not going to win Love any mainstream fans and I dont think it had any bearing on the decision (although I too thought Sims won). I think the increasingly popular thug routine is mainly to impress the "homies" and the "hos" back in the hood.

Unlike the foolish Broner, I think Montana Love is POSING as a thug in the ring, whereas Broner is BEHAVING like a thug (both in & out of the ring) because he IS a thug. Love is a clown who will never be more than a B-level fighter, regardless of his clownish theatrics.
