Not really like Ward did S6 since the CW division is a lot stronger than the SMW division.

I’m undecided where to rank Oleksandr Usyk in the mythical pound-for-pound rankings. I’d guess that he deserves to be rated anything from 4th to 6th, depending on how you perceived the talents of Mikey Garcia and Naoya Inoue.apollo creed wrote: ↑22 Jul 2018, 13:38Yes I agree Usyk has to be p4p kingpin sice he beat the best in his division ! I can’t place the Ukraine above the likes of Gennady Golovkin, Vasiliy Lomachenko and Terence Crawford though.
There always seems to be an inevitable “pendulum swinging” effect found in most fight fans and the media where they go from one vine (fighter) to the next based on the sport’s most recent noteworthy performance.
Basically, a lot of people quickly fall victim to a typical “pendulum shift” as soon as someone in the sport does something big, where the momentum seems to bury the reality. Oleksandr Usyk’s victory over Murat Gassiev is no different.
Those that currently rate Oleksandr Usyk above GGG will probably change their minds come September, if the Kazakh overcomes Canelo… and that’s because many fight fans are fickle in nature, due to falling prey to the aforementioned “pendulum swinging” effect.

Usyk's resume speaks for itself. With wins against top notch champions like Krzysztof Glowacki, Briedis and Gassiev, Usyk has to be a solid candidate for p4p no 1 spot. Let's not forget that Usyk beat some tough-solid champions, not just some overrated title holders.

Again : Usyk is the only undisputed champion just now. If Crawford, Spence, Lomachenko, M. Garcia, Joshua or Wilder are capable to become the undisputed, this will be the material for discussion.
Now, Usyk deserves to be No. 1 pfp.......I have not any dilemma.............

Actually Crawford did it at 140 but in terms of talent the opponets that Usyk beat are far better than the opponents Crawford beat (Dulorme, Postol and Indongo).ValMar wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018, 13:58Yes !apollo creed wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018, 13:23 Usyk's resume speaks for itself. I know what Crawford achieved at LWW, of course, but now he is at WW. It will be extremely difficult for him to become the undisputed champion at 147, Spence is much better than Dulorme, Postol and Indongo.apollo creed wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018, 14:33Actually Crawford did it at 140 but in terms of talent the opponets that Usyk beat are far better than the opponents Crawford beat (Dulorme, Postol and Indongo).ValMar wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018, 13:58Yes !apollo creed wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018, 13:23 Usyk's resume speaks for itself. Yes, Usyk's opponents are far better than Crawford's opponents (at LWW).

It's an insane resume. He fought such varying styles and beat two champions in their own hometown. Also, people don't seem to understand how strong the division is right now. I don't think I can name a division that is stronger at the moment and top-to-bottom loaded with talented fighters. Even the prospects coming up look like monsters.apollo creed wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018, 13:23 Usyk's resume speaks for itself. Yup I'd say that the mw division is pretty stacked with guys like GGG, Canelo, Jacobs, Jermall, Saunders, Murata, Derev and Andrade. But yeah Usyk beat the very strong and best guys in his division.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑23 Jul 2018, 19:59It's an insane resume. He fought such varying styles and beat two champions in their own hometown.
