So is nobody showing Garcia v Easter? That's poor if not!
Re: Christopher Diaz vs Masayuki Ito
Not heard of either guy.
Diaz has beat a bunch of nobodies.
Ito doesn't look that bad on paper. He has fought domestically in Japan which is probably a good standard so doubt he gets knocked over. But Japenese fighters are terrible travelling when challenging for world titles.
Noticed Diaz is Puerto Rican so I think he will be heavily protected if he gets the belt. I would expect a Gilberto Ramirez run of defences afterwards.

Ito did a number on him, and hopefully other Japanese fighters learn a lesson from his preparation. Don't travel on the week of the fornicating fight!
Re: Christopher Diaz vs Masayuki Ito
Ill lookout for this later. The plan backfired on Bob to keep the belt in house after Lomachenko moved up.
Diaz has been matched terribly. You always get found out at some point.

Re: Christopher Diaz vs Masayuki Ito
I didn't expect Ito to win but his resume was ful of fights at domestic and regional level. This is a common theme between all of the top Japenese fights.Boxing Prospect wrote: ↑29 Jul 2018, 01:26 Ito did a number on him, and hopefully other Japanese fighters learn a lesson from his preparation. That's what prepare you for world title fights,

Re: Christopher Diaz vs Masayuki Ito
Excellent fight that but Ito a deserved winner I agreed with the 117-110 card , Diaz showed heart and in spells tried to slug it out but for the most part he was outworked and bullied up close, Diaz never liked things up close and was drilled with uppercuts through the middle, Ito was able to land the right hand clean and scored a nice KD in the 4th with a two fisted attack, Diaz actually had a decent 5th but often went back into a shell and allowed Ito to bully him
There was no doubt Ito was the winner, glad to see no funny business with the scores, Ito looks like a good boxer who'll be in some fun fights

Watched bits before but the quality wasn't very good.
You could tell after the first round Ito was no mug. FairPlay to him, because it's always mentioned how bad Japanese fighters are travelling abroad challenging for world titles.
Not sure Diaz is up to much but he will have learned a lot from that. Bobs plans for a Puerto Rican star went up in smoke.
