Is the Northeast's Tommy Ward just two fights away from a world title fight? http://thefightscene.co.uk/2018/07/23/t ... rld-title/
Re: WARD VERSUS JAZZA DICKENS OFF BUT SHOW GOES ON
Bollocks. Was looking forward to this.
Ward isn't 2 fights from a world title. He needs a lot more experience and better opposition before trying for a world strap. This next guy is 8-1-1. Hardly the best prep for a world title. Good luck to him though. Lacks power and pop which will no doubt be an issue at world level but is a talented boxer.

Looking forward to seeing joe laws meant to be a good amateur boxed out of Birtley so he would of had world class sparring. Apparently he's got a very fan friendly style

Re: WARD VERSUS JAZZA DICKENS OFF BUT SHOW GOES ON
Shut out for Ward he boxed better as the fight wore on, started to mix the shots up more and put more spite into them, especially the lefts to the body, Rodriguez was dogshite though, nothing worse than watching a classy non puncher against a low level guy with zero ambition, Ward's technically a sharp fighter but I do think even though he's never gonna be a mini Mike Tyson if he sits down on his shots more he will hurt guys, even Tyson wouldn't have KO'd anyone if he'd threw the sort of punches Ward was in the 1st half, a lot of pot shotting
All in all an easy win though, i'd like to see Ward step up a level again though
Also WTF was the commentator doing calling this a European title fight
