The better punching power, Whyte or Parker ?
The better punching power, Whyte or Parker ?
What do you think ?
Re: The better punching power, Whyte or Parker ?
They both have an incredible bumslashing power. It perfectly worked against journeymen and sometimes against fringe competitors, but it has been always disappearing on the higher level. So I picked "close" option.

Whyte has better raw power, but Parker has much better punching technique, so overall it's close.

i think there both not power punchers at the weight , whyte throws a lot for a big man , parker against last bloke of his size ruiz didnt hurt him

Whyte has decent power.
Parker's power is better than average but hardly special.
But it's irrelevant. Better talent usually decides fights.
Parker is more talented even if he sometimes struggles to show it.

The both of them have decent/very decent power, obviously.SenorPipino wrote: ↑28 Jul 2018, 14:07 Whyte has decent power.

I agree with you, Parker is more talented, and I expect his victory tonight (I am not sure should I expect the fair judging)..............

I can't outthink what the judges might do.ValMar wrote: ↑28 Jul 2018, 14:17The both of them have decent/very decent power, obviously.SenorPipino wrote: ↑28 Jul 2018, 14:07 Whyte has decent power.

I think Parker wins a decision in the eyes of most. But he's not on his home turf, so he better not get lazy and fight down to Whyte's level, or he might find himself with his second consecutive defeat.
Re: The better punching power, Whyte or Parker ?
i dont think aj is big punching nor fury , they can punch there 17stone plus , but wilder is the banger
Re: The better punching power, Whyte or Parker ?
dont agree he is a big puncher,i think his speed is more of a factor , deepens on what were classing as a big puncher , not saying he aint got power

i just think aj, whyte. fury so on .... are below wilder on one punch ko
Re: The better punching power, Whyte or Parker ?
of course ajs a puncher, beaten the best opposition in the division and kod all but 1 of them. ppl say he stops guys on there feet but even then he drops them first
the same number of fighters have gone the distance vs aj and wilder (1)
they both have standing stoppages, like duhaupas for wilder and takam for aj
wilder may hit harder, but aj certainly can punch too

Let us go !
Chisora KO'd Takam, I hope Parker will do the same with Whyte.

After last nights fights this is an easy one to answer.
Parker has a serious deficiency in terms of punch power. He went 12 with Cojanu who was just ICED by Ortiz in 2. He has also now gone the full 12 without a KO for 5 fights.
Whyte would have levelled Cojanu and he carries the bigger punching power. He was able to hurt AJ too.

parker looks like he pulls his punches to me, whether to make them quicker, because of bad gym habits, i dunno...
