He’s going to get pole axed once he steps up.
You know it mate I know it but they just keep talking him up and he's not going to do anything in boxing imo, no Brit or euro titles

Benn was knackered at the end Cedric seemed to get a second wind in the last just a shame he couldnt give pressure for more than 4 or 5 rounds.

It was a good fight for Benn, still wide open like a whores legs and im sure if he fights some puncher he will soon be on the floor.

There isnt a great lot of boxing skill from Benn and apart from his fitness he isnt really improving with skill.

Just listening to them now is laughable, they literally just watch a different fight.

Now he has got the nod he listened to Tony Simms all the way and made it easy for himself  he got the balance just right

Hmmm... I don’t think Spence, Thurman & co will be soiling themselves.

Benn will peak at British title level is my guess, but fair enough. Can’t help his surname. I just hope Sky don’t try and build him up to be something he clearly isn’t.

Who was the last WBA penta winner? Or is this a new invented title for tonights bill?

benn really hasnt improved his boxing

he only tightens up and boxes in small spots. the uneasy, erratic 'late starter' comes out too much

he needs so much more improvement, because paynaud is in reality very limited himself

Any one in the British top 20 would take his head off.

Not a lot of love for Benn Jr on here. Maybe it’s a backlash against certain people bigging him up.

Exactly that ! Benn is a hard working , nice guy, but people rightly get a bit turned off by the matchroom hype machine.

I for one have nothing against the guy, but let’s have it right. He has a lot of profile because his surname is Benn. It certainly isn’t because of his boxing ability. That’s not his fault but I can see why some rail against it when more talented boxers without a famous Dad don’t get a look in profile wise.
