I had 9 : 3 rounds for Whyte (the first KD was fake, evidently, and, yes, Whyte should have been 1 point deducted), so, 115-110 for Whyte is quite fair.

Whyte Parker
No questions about the decision in this hard fought out fight although the early going suggested it was going to take more than a few rounds to determine who would take charge.
The first knockdown Whyte scored was a bit dubious as it appeared like his head did more damage than the punch, I hoped that wouldn't be the factor that swung the fight should it go to the cards.
The second knockdown Whyte scored was legitimate as he stamped his authority on the contest with a superb left hook, Parker took the shot well shook himself down and showed he has a solid chin.
Whyte's jab and body punching were consistantly effective throughout the contest as he bullied and hustled his way forward.
Parker offered enough resistance to remain a threat right to the final bell as Whyte gassed out in round twelve and suffered a knockdown himself, Whyte held on as the clock ran out and won a just decision.

Parker is so damn hot and cold all the time. I can't believe he lost to Whyte, just like I couldn't believe he had a close fight with Ruiz Jr. Crazy that Parker shows up like that in almost all his fights. Guy has the mentality of a sparring partner, not a world champion.

The World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman told the media this morning that they would allow Deontay Wilder to engage in a rematch against Luis Ortiz prior to performing a mandatory defence of his WBC crown against Dominic Breazeale, which essentially means that Dillian Whyte won't be given a shot at The Bronze Bomber within the next twelve months, despite being the highest ranked title challenger for so long.

The WBC are essentially allowing Wilder to continue facing fellow Al Haymon stablemates until the title unification bout against AJ happens, which is an absolute disgrace.

Al Haymon wants that heavyweight title unification money, regardless as to whoever holds the WBC title.

The WBC have little integrity or credibility.
They are a profit making concern first and foremost. They are often quite happy to even turn a blind eye to their own rules if it suits them.

They also understand that we want Joshua v Wilder, so there won't be many complaints from us if it gets delivered come April.

Even Whyte seems happy enough to deal with Boxing politics as they are. As for Wilder, the only thing that counts is to remain unbeaten. A rematch with Ortiz won't be the first thing on his wish list!
