Dillian is high up the WBC so may become mandatory for Wilder?
Parker - Whyte RBR
Re: Parker - Whyte RBR
I would like to see him get a title shot , he’s currently the best fighter around who hasn’t had a world title fight .

Enjoyed the fights. Big thanks to rhino222.
Good scraps but the quality was mediocre. Y
Tyson should use all four as warm up fights before fighting for a title, Del Boy then takam then Parker then whyte.
Don’t think he’d break sweat against any of em
Bellows commentary was disgraceful.

Re: Parker - Whyte RBR
would Joe Joyce be so keen to fight Del Boy now?
Re: Parker - Whyte RBR
all in all tonight some good competetive 50/50 fights saved Eddies bacon.
if that was a PPV bill on paper then my cock is an absolute kipper.

If Whyte thinks he can get in the ring and fight like that with AJ, he is getting KO'ed even sooner than last time.

Probably made £10m in his last 2 fights, it must be hard to stay hungry when he's goes to the ATM and see's that balance, wouldn't be surprised if he packs it in now.
Re: Parker - Whyte RBR
He will probably have to come back at some stage after Kevin Barry fleeces him like he did with David Tua. After tonight's performance, he should pack it in. The better boxer didn't win, he lost.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑28 Jul 2018, 22:08Probably made £10m in his last 2 fights, it must be hard to stay hungry when he's goes to the ATM and see's that balance, wouldn't be surprised if he packs it in now.
For 4 rounds he made Whyte look like a prospect, then he stopped punching. Who knows, he could have broken a hand or something, or just lost the will to fight.

Hats off to Whyte. Career best win there but Parker will watch that fight back and kick himself.KiwiRider wrote: ↑28 Jul 2018, 22:13He will probably have to come back at some stage after Kevin Barry fleeces him like he did with David Tua. What’s with all the negativity towards Parker? It takes two to make a fight like that.

Re: Parker - Whyte RBR
I like Parker.
Last night he had a great start and it looked like a clear points win was on the way after the first round, which is what I expected to see.
Perhaps Whyte would have won no matter what, but IJL didn’t officiate well, allowing lots of leaning on, holding the ropes, holding and hitting and low blows. I have t watched it back yet so I’m not sure if he should have seen that the knockdown was caused by a clash of heads.
It’s possible that the clash of heads rattled Parker and he didn’t recover well I suppose and he finished strong but it was too little too late by that point.

Re: Parker - Whyte RBR
Agree with this. Whyte got away with murder and when you consider the headbutt kd happened in just the 2nd round its hardly surprising it took Parker so long to clear his head. The refereeing and commentating was embarrassing frankly, Parker is too much of a gent to complain but his corner team should be livid at the way the whole fight was handled. I don't understand at all how they can get Buffer over here from the US just to be the MC but they can't get a top class ref with big fight experience over too, or am I being naive here and they wanted a ref who would let the house fighter do as he liked with impunity?leejonesjnr wrote: ↑28 Jul 2018, 19:08Parker also may not have got the benefit of a headbut knockdown and definitely wouldn’t have got away with hitting on the back of the head, grabbing the ropes, low blows or holding the head down and hitting

Re: Parker - Whyte RBR
Did make my laugh when, I think it was Froch who was scoring the Benn fight didn't give him a 10-8 round because the KD wasn't legitimate... yet they gave Whyte the KD for the headbutt..
Re: Parker - Whyte RBR
Nope pulled out of a final eliminator with Luis Ortiz.
It was a load of bollocks though as I think the WBC had Breazeale as mandatory even though he was ranked lower.
Re: Parker - Whyte RBR
Hats off to Dillian. Proved me wrong in a big way and he deserved that last night. Fair scorecards as well. He deserves a fight with Wilder or Joshua next.
It will be Whyte v Joshua 2 at Wembley April 13th. Whyte gets stopped again in the same fashion.
Also Mark Tibbs deserves a lot of credit as well. He doesn't crave the spotlight like some trainers but he should be getting a lot of praise for turning Dillians career around. Obviously a chip off the old block.
