WBSS and ITV box office....

Post by Stuarty »

I'm assuming the forthcoming Bantam and LWW tournaments will be on ITV box office. I can't get it on BT and the twice I've paid online they kept cutting out and was really difficult to access! They don't make it easy and it's been pretty disastrous so far. Some really good fights coming up and obviously I'm a Taylor fanboy so I'm really hoping they get their finger out their arse and sort it before the first round of fights next up!!

Problem is the UK ranks 31st in the world for broadband speeds and lags behind most of Europe. There's many places still in the UK that can't even access broadband. Considering were a relatively small island and rank number 5 in the strongest economies in the world. That's a pretty piss poor statistic.

So streaming on a computer or a phone isn't a viable option for a lot of people.

Few times I've had it on the computer and it's been rotten. Like the fuckin Krypton Factor trying to order it as well!

I have Sky Q. Tried to order it last night and it said I needed to do it via their website. Tried doing that and it kept telling me I had wrong viewing card number when I didn’t. Sacked it off in the end.

It's really in their own best interests to sort it out. It's been pish poor man. The way things have been going you'd have to imagine that they would've been just as well putting the fights on ITV or ITV4 free to air!

Would imagine Series 2 will be up for Tender Bids - don’t imagine Sky bidding unless they sell each weight class individually as they have Matchroom UK-US now as content.

BT didn’t get involved last time around.

Hope you're right mate and they move away from this ITV box office crap. They surely know they're not maximising their earning potential showing the fights on that platform.

BT will not bid for this! They have lost Italian football, NBA and UFC to a new subscription channel.
Looking like they are only going to concentrate on EPL and CL. Well, let their contract run on them. Not sure what this all means for allegedly and his shows but even if they keeping this content, it is going to be watched by alot less people losing sports such as UFC. May be he should have kept allegedly going!!!
