I mean till now only I heard from Mikey how he wants to challenge himself against the best 147 pounder but I'm not hearing nothing about discussions or negotiations between both teams being started ?

Espinoza says it's real according to BS. I'm sure they're doing negotiations since Mikey wants it before the end of the year (if that's even a possibility).

By the way, negotiations don't happen out front like these Twatter queens (Wilder and AJ). They're usually done for real when you get a finalized fight at some point. I've seen enough "entering negotiations" that don't lead anywhere to trust it.

Did Mikey and Spence sparred together at some point ? If so maybe Mikey knows something that we don't know ? I'm just saying this because I think there are other good options at 147 like Thurman or Porter - Garcia winner but Mikey is jumping to the dangerous Spence ?

If this thing doesn't happen it was just all smoke and mirrors to distract people from the Lomachenko fight.

The Lomachenko fight is next to impossible to make without Mikey giving total control to TR in order to make the fight. I don't think Mikey took 2 years off his prime to split from TR so he could let Arum control the biggest fight of his career. A fight against Spence is alot easier to make.

Now you'll see Lomachenko and Arum continuously say Mikey is moving up 2 divisons and fight the WW boogieman because he's scared of fighting Lomachenko, knowing damn well it's next to impossible to make the fight.

Impossible is nothing. Loma is the best fight to be made for Mikey.

Spence is with PBC. Garcia is with PBC.

Therefore loud, contentious, go nowhere negotiations conducted before the media and public, are uneccesary.

You can't blame the rival promoter here if negotiations bog down, so instead its conducted in a low key, professional manner between the 2 fighters. Very unusual for boxing.

And Arum and Lomachenko can call Garcia yellow all they want.

It would sound hollow.

If Garcia has the balls to step in the ring with the much bigger, stronger, super talented Spence, then it's ludicrous to ever suggest that the smallish Lomachenko frightens him.

The fear of losing to Lomachenko would not be the fear of being physically hurt, but the fear of losing a legacy and standing.

Against Spence Garcia legacy doesn't get hurt because , he is fighting the bigger opponent and tried for greatness.

Spence though can hurt him way more than Loma physically and that sticks with you a life time. Your pride heals faster than you brain and body. If Mikey , starts fighting with Spence he will lose...

I don't believe that top fighters think that way.

Garcia is elite and believes he can whip any fighter he meets. That's how the top guys think. They believe in themselves.

They don't nitpick and think "This guy will damage my legacy but I'll get a pass if I lose to the bigger, stronger guy."

Mikey Garcia expects to kick ass no matter who his opponent is.

He could be wrong, but great self belief is part of what defines outstanding fighters.

Impossible is nothing. Loma is the best fight to be made for Mikey.

There's impossible and then there's next to impossible. Garcia and Arum won't be doing any business together any time soon.
