Ive never understood the hate for TJ either. Seems like it became the cool thing to do. Cody is such a talented fighter but came across as a real douchebag on TUF.

Still though....a win for Garbrant could set up a trilogy. And i could happily watch these two fight again & again 😁

I think TJ was known as a gym bully. There were some stories of him beating the piss out of beginners in training.

Then again, Garbrandt comes off as a half-moron psychopath so it's not like he's any more likable.

Still looking forward to the fight.

Yeah Garbandt is an absolute headcase, serious anger issues.

I did like it when he stood up to McGregor though.

I just saw the result so haven't watched the fight. Still it's surprising that he was in a fight that was close enough for him to drop a split decision.

Delighted TJ won again.

Cody needs good people around him now, this will be difficult for him to take mentally.

I thought DJ won 3-2 but the fight was very close and I don't think Cejudo winning was a travesty or anything.

I am a little annoyed at Cejudo calling out Dillashaw after his fight. You just beat one of the most dominant champs ever by a razor-thin decision. If ever there was a time for an immediate rematch/trilogy fight, this is it.

TJ is too smart for Cody. I wanted Garbrandt to win this but he just throws the wrong stuff at the wrong time. Also don’t like how he’s reluctant to defend himself while taking shots from TJ, like his rage/machismo gets the better of him.

There will surely be a rematch for DJ vs Cejudo. It was razor thin. Could have went either way.

DJ showed absolute class after that fight. Not a hint of resentment or negativity.

I had it 3-2, but I thought a case could be made for DJ winning nearly all of the rounds, but couldn't say the same for Cejudo. I still think there is way too much emphasis put into takedowns in mma, esp when fighters can't capitalize or do damage from the dominant position.

Happy for Gaethje. He really needed a big win that didn't give him any more brain damage. Also Vick trains with Lloyd Irvin which instinctively makes me root against him.

Is there any argument for Woodley not being #2 WW behind GSP?

Call me crazy but I think Woodley is one of very few welterweights that actually matches up well against GSP even in his prime.

Bit over the best ever thing getting constantly thrown about in general, but I think Hughes has still accomplished more than Woodley.

Personally don't get the hate Woodley seems to receive. But it was a good convincing win for him today.

Know it's not a new thing, but been meaning to ask for a while now, but what is with the daft pudenda in the crowd screaming woooooo during every main card?

ESPN interview with Khabib.
He comes off very cold and calculating IMO. I think Conor is a live dog but I don't think Khabib has a weak chin, nor do I think Conor has the cardio or grappling skill to keep Khabib off him.

Really looking forward to Khabib-Conor. I feel like the fight is really set up for one guy getting totally embarrassed. Whether it's Conor just absolutely lighting Khabib up on the feet and ultimately knocking him out, or whether it's Khabib just man handling Conor and GNP the shit out of him and making him look silly.

I feel like that's how it's gonna play out. I'm kinda on the fence though, in who I think will eventually prevail.

Wasn't sure what to take from the staredown. Not sure if Khabib was trying to contain his own anger and not play into connor's games, or if Connor actually has gotten in his head a bit. Maybe a little of both.

I was wondering the same thing. He stopped a couple feet short. But, maybe he doesn't want to tussle outside the cage with a man who has been drinking whiskey and threw a dolly at a bus. I hope Khabib is here for smesh dis guy.

Usually Conor's opponents are. He is a master at getting into their head. I think he got to Khabib with all his talk about his dad and country. But I think Khabib will be settled and ready mentally come fight time.
