Who can stop Katie Taylor?

Post by JoeCalzaghe »

Have started to really get excited about a female fighter from Ireland, Katie Taylor 10-0-0(5KO). The girl has everything in her arsenal. And so humble to speak to when I met her in 02. Watch this lass, as in my opinion(M or F) she's the greatest pound for pound fighter in World Boxing!(Clarissa Shields USA is up there too).
As anyone in the know knows Katie Taylor is the greatest asset to World of Boxing  . Brought Women's Boxing to London for 1st time and won Gold v Ochigava :box: . She had a bad year with what happened about her Father so we can count out her 'Annus Horribles'. Since going Pro Ross Enemait has brought Katie back to her best and the #TeamTaylor just totally jelled as coach and Boxer. But just a question... Who would you like see Katie next. It sadly won't be Tash Jonas in her early stoppage(Threw in Towel) by Obenauf. Katie has beaten Obenauf easily in her second pro fight so MISS GB has a long road to come back from that defeat. Jonas was earmarked before the Obenauf fight for a Homecoming in Milltown, Cork...So now it's open to who she will fight. Personally id love see her fight Delphine Peerson 41-1-0((16KO), BoxRec world ranked #1. Kate(#2). Did a 'match up' (Link Below)and got a couple point win for Peerson!
Check below. But Katie only faught 10 and 247 on Points. Peerson has 42 fights and on 359 Points. Per fights faught Katie should reach world #1 Soon. All that said, Who you think would win KT v DP? :-? :brick: :TU: #Katietaylor #Boxing #Ireland #Irish #FightingIrish

Katie is a great talent. I think she will go far.
There are a lot of female boxers that I don't have much knowledge about but, from what I've seen, Katie looks capable of beating anyone at her weight.

lol greatest p4p talent male or female, you think those 5 girls that took her the distance would last more than a few minutes vs any elite male talent at those weights

greatest p4p male or female ? Next joke!

She hasn't even fought the number one/two in her division. Has she even mentioned her at any point? Patterson or something her name is. Has a pretty looking record for Women's Boxing.

Delfine Persoon.

Never seen her fight but she is regarded as the best at Taylor's weight.

Yes that's it. Has Taylor or Hearn ever expressed an interest in fighting her ? Surely that should be the fight they should be looking at for the "p4p great"

ive seen persoon, shes agressive and a bit wild, looks huge for the weight, would have a massive height advanatge though tbh im not sure how much she uses it

apparently she used to be really good at judo and was doing that at a high level, but got injured and switched to boxing in her 20s

Yep Eddie never utters her name when it comes to Taylor's future.
Persoon is getting up there in age, maybe they are waiting her out a bit longer. I've seen Persoon fight twice and she is smart and wild, hard to deal with. Katie isn't ready just yet.

Katie Taylor, you say? I have never heard of this multiple amateur world champ, Olympic gold medalist, double pro world champ, York Hall-headlining Katie Taylor of which you speak...

I'm unconvinced she's the #1 in her division, let alone the best female P4P female fighter. She's all action and generally fun to watch though. Let's get her in with Persoon - that's the obvious fight.
