ya, that really competitive 119-108 loss to a third rate belt holder destroyed by fielding and held to a draw by de carolas. seriously man! i dont know how you call that competitive.stujones wrote: ↑06 Aug 2018, 10:47 It is beyond a joke yes, but I always think he is a bit hard done by on here. He aint a bad boxer. Fielding vs Smigga after Fielding lost to Callum would have been seen as a good fight.
Yes, he should beat at least a decent domestic level fighter first, but its not like he did not embarrass himself against Abraham twice and Zeuge - yes, lost two of these decisively, but was competitive. Okay, we can forget about the Ward debacle.
and the aa rematch wasnt competitive imo. basically hes been living off that first aa fight, that he still lost, but has totally failed to get any positive result. he gets these opportunities because the other side knows there guy will win.
what are his three best wins?
i mean, people have gone on about guys like murray getting repeated shots, but murray actually drew with sturm, very arguably beat martinez, and only lost a split to abraham. smith just has that one aa fight he lost, and nothing else. was totally outclassed even by a guy like zeague.
smiths situation deserves ridicule
