it seems most if not all agree that talent is real. then there is the 'talent' to be obsessively dedicated, which opens the possibilities for other natural talents to shine.
eapecially in boxing, which is so brutally hard, only the super hard working will get anywhere.

Opportunities don't just present themselves unless you're born in the right time and the right place. Then there's good training, the right matchmaking, and enormous hard work.
You can ask GGG how dangerously tough this sport is. It's right up there with mountain / rock climbing.

All the talent in the world is not enough sometimes. Anyone else here remember Roy Gumbs? If anyone could have been a contender it wasn't Marlon Brando, it was Roy.

There are definitely guys that are naturally endowed with gifts that lend themselves well to Boxing. Speed, Reflexes, Power, Ability to take a punch...etc

But without putting the work in to get the best out of those gifts they alone will only take you so far.
