There is no evidence of Errol Spence Jr. being “ducked” by his peers.

There was a time when some of the biggest names in the 147lbs division could legitimately claim that they could face easier opposition for far more money, which is a very prudent and commonplace business decision that we’ve seen employed by other fighters, such as GGG.

Similarly, there is no evidence of Team Spence Jr. having submitted serious offers that they proposed being rejected by Errol’s biggest name rivals.

Spence Jr’s handlers haven’t made an offer to an unbeaten professional like me to challenge for the IBF welterweight crown, so does that mean that Errol is blatantly “ducking” me?

Proof that Enlightened One is the most avoided welterweight in boxing today

Several of these Spence fights will not happen because of rival promotions. The fights just aren't big enough to make them

Yeah, I agree! :TU:

Whenever there is a lack of a scientific explanation for the occurrence of a certain phenomenon in nature, some people automatically cite this as evidence to prove the existence of their religious deity. They won’t consider other causes that have yet to be quantified, which is commonly referred to as “god of the gaps”.

Similarly, when a fighter receives a certain amount of hype during the early stages of their career that has somehow been unable to secure bouts against the biggest names in their respective divisions, they automatically cite this as evidence to prove that these guys are blatantly “ducking” their hero. They will never consider the possibility that there are other reasons why certain fights cannot be made yet.

I’d like to coin the phrase “duck of the gaps” to provide a suitable name for this moronic way of thinking!

ODLH wants him for Canelo.

Fascinating matchup. Hope it can be arranged for 2019.

I like Errol Spence, he seems like a really nice bloke and is improving as a boxer as every fight goes by.
