Top Rank, Main Events and Golden Boy have all previously accused Al Haymon of being a promoter, but when they went to court, their lawsuits were either voluntarily dropped by themselves due to their futile nature or very quickly dismissed by the judges, none of their cases ever went to trail as they failed miserably to prove any wrongdoing… and we’re talking about lightning-fast judgements that were delivered by the judges in a few minutes.

Do you want to know the conclusion I’ve drawn from knowing this FACT? You probably won't, but I’ll tell you anyway… Al Haymon isn’t a fȕck¡ng promoter!!!

Why on earth are you accusing a man you’ve never met, you’ve never even seen talk, you’ve never read any of his interview transcripts, a person you know absolutely nothing about, of being a PROMOTER when it’s blatantly obvious that he fȕck¡ng isn’t?

I'll let you stew over that one, because you'll inevitably fail to provide a meaningful response that undermines anything I've written. :OhYes:  :yay:
You are an idiot. The fact that Haymon doesn't fully meet a legal definition of a promoter doesn't mean that he is not one in reality. He decides who fights who and that is what matters.

You do realise that a matchmaker and a promoter fulfil two distinct roles, don’t you? Do you even know what a promoter is responsible for?

Can you please name one boxerany boxer from the 200+ list of names he’s affiliated with… that alleges that Haymon forced them to work with a "sham" promoter or actively prevented them from working with other legitimate promoters of their own choosing, such as Golden Boy, Top Rank, Main Events etc?

You won't be able to do this, because Al Haymon is not a promoter!!! You do not know anything about the man himself. No one from this forum does.

You cannot backup your claims with any evidence at all, because there is none.

I could accuse you of being a traffic warden, even though I don't know anything about you... so does that mean that everyone from this forum should automatically assume that you actually are a traffic warden?

That's the sort of highly-flawed logic that you're trying to apply in regards to Haymon's role in the sport. of boxing.

Does us a favour... will you post a Youtube video of Al Haymon discussing anything... anything at all!

Another instance of EO being an absolute moron. If you knew anything about the sport you'd realize that the reason why Haymon is not listed as a PROMOTER is due to the Ali Act and his attempt to circumvent the rules that govern the sport when it comes to conflicts of interests. If you don't know about it then it's not my job to inform you so look it up.

After every fight, Haymon fighters not only thank Haymon for putting the fight together but when asked what they will do next, the boxers all say that it's all up to Al.

So you're a jackass blowhard. The exact kind of person that Al is easily tricking and confusing.

I refuse to believe that Al Haymon is a promoter. There is no evidence to support this claim and nor can you cite any. It’s categorically impossible to prove me wrong about this, but I’d like to see you try! :OhYes:

Al Haymon and his team are not involved (at a detailed level) nor responsible for the actual staging and the promotion of events. He works with reputable promoters that manages this task.

However, I do feel that he is a very powerful figure in the sport of boxing and it is entirely possible that (at some point) he may have encountered a conflict of interest that may have consequently resulted in one of his boxers being abused/mistreated.

That being said, the Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act is focused primarily on promoters, which means that Al Haymon is out-of-scope of this law, since he is not a promoter, he is actually a manager/advisor.

Anyway, let’s attack your response head-on, shall we? :box:

So, despite a complete lack of evidence, you insist on employing the terribly ignorant “god-of-the-gaps” fallacy to formulate an unsubstantiated assertion that has already been proven in court, multiple times, to bear absolutely no relation to any sort of reality whatsoever?

On a separate note, are you a flat earth theorist?

Matchmaking and securing sufficient money are two key parts of promoters' job, and Haymon does both. The rest is routine which he is not interested in.

Haymon is not officially a promoter. Neither is he officially an executive of the WBC but it isn't difficult to see how some might form an alternative impression.

In order for us to continue this debate, it would be prudent for you to research the universal definition of a promoter, in the context of the sport of boxing, because if you don’t understand their duties and responsibilities, then you’re going to continue making claims that are blatantly untrue.

For sure, some promoters multi-task and perform their own matchmaking, whilst most either employ a matchmaker or use the services of an independent contractor. Either way, a matchmaker is not a promoter.

Whilst I agree with your belief about promoters being responsible for the funding of events, it’s the managers fiduciary duty to represent their client (the fighter) in order to negotiate their purse. And Al Haymon is a manager, which means he is obliged to secure a suitable purse for his client.

The promoter is the producer of the boxing event – they don’t have a “fiduciary duty” to the fighters. A promoter earns their money by promoting a fight card by creating interest in it, by maximising sales of tickets and television monies, whilst minimising expenses, such as the purses of fighters.

A manager is the fighter’s primary negotiating agent and representative who holds a “fiduciary duty” to his fighter, which means the manager must act in the fighter’s best interest. And as well all should know by now, Al Haymon's stable of fighters are extremely overpaid.

This is basic stuff and I’m rather disappointed that you don’t understand fundamental concepts.

You’ve completely failed to substantiate any of your accusations and you have been unable to answer a rather simple set of questions that I have posed.

So, despite a complete lack of evidence, you insist on employing the terribly ignorant “god-of-the-gaps” fallacy to formulate an unsubstantiated assertion that has already been proven in court, multiple times, to bear absolutely no relation to any sort of reality whatsoever?

Simply put: you’re talking bÕllÕcks and you are unable to support anything that you have claimed!

Yes, many of them weigh considerably more, if you include their horse.

Two more questions: When someone says trust me does that mean I can trust him? Also, do bears s___ in the woods?

Sorry I should have realized.

Of course I've never met your sister x2x, but I would imagine her to be, er ... well, less ursine than a bear and more equipped for dancing, but if an elephant can dance the "Shimmie", I'm sure no self-respecting bear would accept being outperformed by a pachyderm, whether in the woods or the speakeasy.

Dangan
They put on a lot of shows, have a very good streaming/VOD service and as a promotional company and not a management company they don't protect fighters, preferring to promote 50/50 matches

RCC also deserve a shout, they have been putting on some impressive shows recently and popping them on YouTube for free

You looked at the link! Cats pajamas! Bees knees! 23 skidoo! By the way, I've been there, Skidoo that is, what's left of it. It's in Death Valley.
