Did Fury school wlad? They were both terrible it was just that Fury threw a few more punches
Re: So Fury is a bum now ?:)
..Fury won every round all right, the question is how difficult is it to look good fighting a lot smaller no-hoper (140 ranking on boxrec) who was coming off a loss a couple of months ago and who in fact lost 2 out of his 3 last fights...and STILL being unable to hurt him...if Fury had that power 3 years ago hurting an ageing 39-year-old Wlad, I've seen no demonstrations of it this time..

What are you babbling on about what has chagev or povetkn got to do with Fury . Fury's heght and reach troubled wlad but it wasn't by any means a great display by Fury no more than Haye Vs valuev which was another dull boring fightHeSeemsToBeBack wrote: ↑19 Aug 2018, 06:48Fury schooled him like no one before in recent 10 years.paddy chavez wrote: ↑19 Aug 2018, 06:30 Did Fury school wlad? We had this conversation only last week not that I'd expect you to remember being all transmit and no receive.
I'm curious as to which of the previously banned numpties you are. I'd forgotten the names but a quick refresh suggests either Jip or Ironfrost always assuming they were not one and the same idiot schoolboy.

right down to the winky face and capitalized 'doe' used above, for example from iron frost
wonder if he lasts longer then asdfjkl/astradamusPovetkin is a PED user and even blind person would notice that :) Deal with that. Russians can only blame others when they do something wrong -.-
But , but but .... USA .... but but DOE
Re: So Fury is a bum now ?:)
Does anyone really think that Fury is getting inside the ring with Wilder next? There’s no chance that this fight goes off as planned.
I guarantee 1 or 2 postponements or fight straight out cancelled. Wilder’s crazy to tie up his career with this fish.

Why i would remember some Hearn’s lunatic lmao..
Whyte Brezale Parker DOE!!!!! All time greats!!! Super boxers!!!!!
If you're interested and I'm sure you're not, but others might be, I have never regarded Fury as a bum or anything close. The Fury that beat Klitschko is the biggest threat to Wilder or Joshua except for each other.
It is because I think Tyson can beat Wilder that I don't want him to fight him before he is in a condition where he can.
Yes he's lost a lot of weight and that's good, but he needs rounds against quality opposition. Do you remember that right hand that Wilder threw that poleaxed Kelvin Price? Do you remember Tyson lying on the floor looking up at Steve Cunningham who was a cruiserweight and not known as a murderous puncher?
If Tyson is to beat Wilder he will need every bit of his evasive skill, boxing ability, and concentration to make sure he doesn't end up like Price. Pianeta was once halfway decent, but that was a few years ago. He recently got stopped by Kevin Johnson who was never a top contender, and is now considered a suitable whipping boy for 20 year old Daniel Dubois. Tyson might as well do ten rounds with the heavy bag.
Fight Ruiz, fight Kownacki or Martin, fight Jennings, fight anyone with a pulse who will get you ready to face Wilder or Joshua next spring or summer.
I'm wasting my breath aren't I ?
Re: So Fury is a bum now ?:)
I really hope you're right Caldo this is too good a fight to just flush down the toilet, but it worries me how up for it all parties sound :
Obviously Wilder wants Fury ASAP while he's still easy to beat, hell even Bellew fancies his chances now and has admitted that he won't want him later. Wilder will be sure to catch clean, a rusty Fury and it's goodnight sweet prince. Then all you'll hear is how great he is having beaten the linear champ and who needs Joshua, when all he's done is take the easiest big fight available.
Tyson shouldn't want it yet but he's blinded by his massive yet fragile ego, and his resentment toward that upstart weight-lifter. He knows he is a way better boxer than Wilder, and that makes him dangerously dismissive of the power differential.
Fwank must be able to see the danger but I'm worried he's willing to throw Tyson under the bus just to spite Joshua and the hated Eddie Hearn.
Down to you then John, Peter, Hughie, Billy-Jo, anybody!

It was a gym workout, sparring session.
It didn't reveal how Fury might handle a tough fight that goes rounds.
Fury finding himself in the ring badly gassing by the 6th because he hasn't had a real battle in 3 years?
That's not a pleasant place to be. Especially if Wilder is coming at you.

I have this feeling like Wilder and Fury might fight more than once as long as Fury doesn't get caught early.

Re: So Fury is a bum now ?:)
Fury is not a bum as to his record in the past. However the fight with Wilder comes much too early. FURY IS NOT READY YET!! He will need at least two or three fights more with better opponent, Pianeta is over the hill long time, Fury is not able to knock him out!!
He needs to improve his power and speed, otherwise no chance im Vegas!!

Maybe it's just me, but I haven't heard anybody call Fury a bum.

I thought he'd get the KO but he is losing weight and he won every round from at least a guy who is a real HW, albeit mediocre and not even as good as he once was.
But he is back on the map.
If he fights Wilder, I'd be surprised, but I'm sure he needs money after buying all that coke and his wife all that bling.

And how many GFs and extra-curricular kids on the side does he need to support?

you should try standup.HeSeemsToBeBack wrote: ↑19 Aug 2018, 06:22That "bum" schooled Klitschko much easier than your bodybuilder hero Joshua.
Re: So Fury is a bum now ?:)
Fury is a great boxer, even if will lose to Wilder. I don't know why exactely, but he's one of those boxers always underrated: he had to lose with Haye, even with Chisora, Klitschko and now Wilder. If it will be a third fight against Chisora now, a lot of people will say: "Chisora would win, he has been almost three years out if the ring, is fat" etc, etc...
