The fight will take place at the TD Garden in Boston, exclusively live on Sky Sports and on DAZN Stateside, as part of the supporting cast to Billy Joe Saunders' mandatory defence of the WBO middleweight world title against Demetrius Andrade and Katie Taylor's latest defence of her WBA and IBF female lightweight titles against Cindy Serrano.

The card will also feature Kid Galahad's clash against Toka Kahn Clary, which doubles up as a final eliminator for the IBF featherweight crown currently held by Josh Warrington, a US debut for Tommy Coyle and a return for former world super-bantamweight champion Scott Quigg.

FW has been talking about how he won the purse bid for this fight on his interviews in the last couple of weeks.

Seems strange for it now to be on DAZN/Sky Sports.

Why didn't Eddie just bid for it when it went to the purse bid? Something clearly has been arranged, maybe as Galahad and BJS are friends that BJS got Frank to do a deal with Eddie to get Barry on his undercard and with Dom training them both it'd be easier for him. Just seems too random.


Good chance for Barry to put himself inline for a world title and fight in front of the US fans and make a name for himself, he should win and win well.

Teams have won bids before and ceded control. Clearly it’s to everyone’s benefit I imagine Queensbury get some kind of payout.

I think the Hughie v Parker fight was won by someone but then arranged for the others backyard. There was a cancellation for the fight to happen in NZ I think if I remember rightly.

Yh, FW did win pursebids, and probably made an arrangement for the fight to take place on the Matchroom USA card. FW will probably pay their purses still. Hearn should be okay with this anyway as he would want to fill his show.

Kid Galahad wasn’t even speaking in the mic most of the time during the presser. He was too busy looking at Toka. Everyone else was happy and thankful they were there and he was too busy trying to create a grudge.

I think Clary might be a bit suspect around the whiskers. If Galahad decides to go through the gears he should stop him.
