Nice win for Akhmadaliev!! He's a bronze medalist from the RIo Olympics and Lomachenko has supposedly spoken very highly of this Uzbekistani featherweight. http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Murodjon_Akhmadaliev

Murodjon is based in Brooklyn as a pro but has already fought on both coasts. Here's a stoppage win in his 2nd pro bout, from NYC.

This dude's the real deal... just had a nice outing against Isaac Zarate. This fight shows his talents. Fast, hard puncher, good foot movement, bobbing and weaving....movement like a young Mike Tyson with the small man power of Lomachenko.

Akhmadaliev still has rough edges but has that extra something that makes him look like a future world champ in the pros. Not surprising that his crowd-pleasing style reflects some Mexican influence since the highly regarded Diaz brothers are training him. Here's a look at his most recent win, dominating granite-chinned Isaac Zarate Saturday night. He is a very exciting fighter and, based on that showing, should be very popular with the American TV audience:
