Jerry Quarry-Cancelled fights

What fights were scheduled for Jerry Quarry but never happened for one reason or another
and how would he have done against the opponent if the fight did happen when and where it was suppose to happen ?

One that I remember reading about was in his comeback in 1990 Jerry Quarry was scheduled to fight Paul Bradshaw,
but a heated argument with the fight promoter,so the promoter( John Ellis)reportedly punched Jerry Quarry in the face
and Quarry needed 9 stitches and the fight was called off.
(im guessing the promoter probably had a ring on his finger or two).

John Ellis should have been taken out to the parking lot & curb-stomped for what he did to Quarry during that comeback.

Ellis was just a mediocre heavyweight with a manufactured 14-4 career record that was attempting to resurrect Quarry just enough to match him with his brother, another mediocre heavyweight with a built up record who's lone claims to fame were getting KO''d by George Foreman on HBO & then getting crushed by a young Shannon Briggs before losing to the winless Jim Brewer & then getting iced in a round by Ladislao Mijangos. Both men were garbage fighters & garbage people.

Wrong John Ellis. The heavyweight John Ellis was a west coast white heavyweight.
I only saw him fight once vs an 0-7-1 Roger Braxton who outboxed him for 10 rounds before being ripped off by the judges who gave it to Ellis.

Sonny Liston seemed almost 'obscessed" with wanting to fight Jerry Quarry.
I read somewhere a bout was scheduled for September 1968 in Los Angeles
and that after the fight with Chuck Wepner in June 1970,Liston went immediatly back to Las Vegas to train
in hopes of being matched with Jerry Quarry mostly.

I don't think it was actually signed, but a third Ali-Quarry fight was planned for Spring 1974. Jerry was coming off of a red hot 1973 and Ali was planning to use it as a tune-up for Foreman in September. As it happened, Ali elected to rest up before taking on Big George, while Quarry had a scare against Joe Alexander in May before taking a pasting from Joe Frazier in June.

I remember boxing writer Michael Katz mocked Quarry by saying, "He got knocked out by his promoter." Not mentioning his promoter was also a fighter.

Quarry never got knocked out, he decked them, yes he got cut by a sucker punch, his trainer really got banged up Guy Ditmars, Jerry was a lil miffed for they gave his sparring partner the day off, It escalated from thee James Ellis and his brothers were the culprits.

I think he had a couple sscheduled with Oscar, and those were pick em fights. Yeah.
