David Price vs. Sean Turner - 5 October 2018
Re: David Price vs. Sean Turner - 5 October 2018
Perfect fight for Price to get a domestic win under his belt. I'd like to see him fight Dave Allen for the British if comes through this. I'm sure Hughie will vacate now he's fighting pulev.
Re: David Price vs. Sean Turner - 5 October 2018
Price would smash allen apart...
allen is too much of a plodding forward fighter to be in against a massive puncher like price.
Re: David Price vs. Sean Turner - 5 October 2018
Doing all they can to keep Price relevant I see. He should win this one comfortably.
Re: David Price vs. Sean Turner - 5 October 2018
Hard to disagree with you there. Allen is a tough nut though. If he was able to stand up to Price early firepower then you'd have to give him a shout. If he finds that chin then he could very well do it!

David Price Hunts For New Opponent, Sean Turner is Out
David Price is searching for a new opponent ahead of his return next month.
The 35-year-old was matched up with Sean Turner on a card that features a whole host of MTK Global-managed fighters on October 5.
But the Irishman, who was set to come into the fight on the back of a defeat at the hands of Nathan Gorman back in June, has been ruled out of the fight at the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast, exclusively live on allegedly.
The news was first revealed by IrishBoxing.com.
And now Price, training with Joe McNally and John Gillies at the Four Corner Combat Gym in the city, is awaiting news regarding a new foe in due course from his management company.
The card, billed ‘Raise The Titanic’, is topped by Liverpool-trained super-bantamweight Tyrone McCullagh as he takes on English champion Josh Kennedy for the vacant WBO European title.
Meanwhile, Boxing Scene understands that it will soon be confirmed that Declan Geraghty is out of his fight against Marco McCullough on the bill.

Eric Molina is Hoping To Land a Fight With David Price
Heavyweight contender Eric Molina’s manager, Lee Holliday, is working with the British Board of Boxing in hopes of getting Molina an early release from his suspension.
Molina was given a two-year suspension by the British Boxing Board for an illegal substance discovered in post-fight testing following his loss to Anthony Joshua in England on Dec. 10, 2016.
“I’m hopeful that the British Boxing Board will consider allowing Molina an early release on his suspension,” said Holliday. “It is coming up on two years since the Joshua fight. I know David Price is looking for an opponent in England. If we are fortunate to get the release, Molina would be happy to fight Price.”
The British Board of Boxing found a banned substance and Molina thought it was part of the B12 supplement he was taking.
Molina is 26-5 with 19 KOs and Price is 22-5 with 18 KOs.

Due to Molina pissing hot a while ago, I doubt Price will want to fight him.. Not that it made a difference in Molina's fights.
Would be a good win for Price. But like anyone else, Molina would go into this fight trying to find a shot to put Price down and out.
Would Molina be Price's best win?

If Price was to fight Molina the same way he fought Povetkin, he'd smash him to pieces.

David Price pulled from Belfast card next month
MTK Global, Price’s management company, have stated that an announcement will be made in due course.
David Price won’t fight next month.
The former British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion had been set to return on October 5.
Price was meant to take on Sean Turner at the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast, exclusively live on allegedly, as part of MTK Global’s ‘Danger At The Docks’ card.
But after Turner was ruled out of the fight through injury earlier this week, it has now been revealed that the 35-year-old won’t fight on the bill topped by Liverpool-trained super-bantamweight Tyrone McCullagh.
McCullagh, trained by Derry Mathews, George Vaughan and Gary Thornhill, will take on English champion Josh Kennedy for the vacant WBO European title at the weight.

Re: David Price vs. Sean Turner - 5 October 2018
He turned it down..
Price said, “And, even now, every fight I go into I will look at it the same, there’s nothing to lose. I really believe that people are going to see the best of me in the next few years and for whatever reason it’s just took until now to see it, but that’s what I believe. And if it isn’t, say I stunk the gaff out in my next fight, I would probably walk away, but I do believe that there’s something left from what I’ve shown before which is why I’m still taking it seriously. I was offered to fight this other Russian on the [September 22] Joshua card and it was a good fight for good money but I decided against it because there was a fair chance I would have lost. It was a winnable fight, 50-50 in my eyes, but at this moment in time I need to be taking fights that are slightly more in my favour, so I can build a bit of momentum again. I need to put a few wins together instead of win one, lose one, win a couple and then jump in again. I need to find my form and build my momentum so when these fights do come I’ll be ready with both hands – so that’s why I made that decision.”
Clever guy really. He knows..
