Witter Vs Chop Chop
Seems Corley has done anything special lately except for losing his best fights.
So would you give Witter a good chance to win?
If weight drained Cotto can stop him I reckon Witter wins this.

Goto give Witter the edge but he needs to be allot better than his previous 2 because Corley will take a decision otherwise. If Witter screws this 1 up he won't get another title shot.
The Corley stoppage was premature and Cotto was throwing everything at him and throwing straight, loaded up haymakers won't land against corley. A controled offense would be good to see and the cutting out of switch upon switch upon switch

The stoppage in the Cotto fight was early but Corely looked beat to me. Weight drained or not, Cotto is still one of the best in the division and say what you will about the Torres and Corely fights he came through rough spells to look the better fighter.
Will be interesting to see which Witter we get in this fight, the one who plants his feet and throws bombs trying to get people out of there early, which hasn't worked of late and also tires himself out quickly. Or the more defense minded boxer of old?

He lost an SD against Judah, which means it was obviously close (didnt see it). If he can handle a Judah beating Witter is possible. And a switch hitter is not really different to a southpaw it just means he switches orthodox to southpaw. Witters not exactly proficient as a southpaw anyway though as he tends to resort to just throwing a right hookjosh fg wrote:Never seen Courly fight whats his style like, also how has he done in the past against southpaws (not that its the same as a switch hitter but it shows that his rytholm may be adaptable).

He's dangerous and what slick fighters has Hatton fought? How long was Hatton WBO#1 but refused to fight Corley?
Corley is sparring partner for #1 p4p PBF so he's sharp and would certainly KO the one dimensional Hatton (Watch the Maussa fight).
One thing is for sure, you're a predictable troll. Bore off.
slick fighters? yeah there's so many great slick fighters around 140-7: Witter, who walks around with his gloves down, throws wild shots and looked completely baffled when his opponent fights back; Corley, a disorganised boxer who fights without much method & puts more thought into his ridiculous costumes than his boxing.lirva33 wrote:One thing is clear, Corley would KO Hatton.

KO Hatton? hmmmm, Ricky can fight the Tszyu's of the world any day of the week, but keep him the fornicate away from faded versions of 'Chop Chop' Corley, Witter and especially Sharmbah Mitchell. Bollocks!

i dont have a link but i have an interview with hatton from the time that the tszyu fight had just been scheduled saying something to the effect of "over the past 12 months boxing had really got me down, i'd had fights with kelson pinto, sharmba mitchell and demarcus corley all fall through, and i thought if i cant land those fights what chance have i got at landing a fight with the undisputed champion"Blue wrote:mattym wrote:lirva he had a fight with corley but it fell through, against hatton's will. Why post on a boxing forum if you dont know what you are talking about? Please post a link/article clarifying your statement.

naturally, any unbiased person with a knowledge of styles would feel that not only would hatton be beaten by corley, but be ko'd by his pea shooter. haha, what's next, klitschko beat lewis, mayweather will beat hatton, hatton is scared of mayweather, i see a pattern somewhere, who's the biased twit?lirva33 wrote:Another biased idiot who knows nothing about styles.viciousmaussa wrote:slick fighters? yeah there's so many great slick fighters around 140-7: Witter, who walks around with his gloves down, throws wild shots and looked completely baffled when his opponent fights back; Corley, a disorganised boxer who fights without much method & puts more thought into his ridiculous costumes than his boxing.lirva33 wrote:One thing is clear, Corley would KO Hatton.
