Langford wins the round unless he's decked !
You could make a case that Longford has won every round except the ones where he went down.
Pretty much - apart from maybe 5th ?
and 11th?

Glad Langford ended up seeing the final bell, he deserved to go the distance on heart alone. Welborn will be absolutely kicking himself if he doesn’t get the decision though, he really should he got Tommy out of there early.

I can't believe Longford was still standing at the end! What a warrior!

He's going to get hurt badly if he continues having these kinds of fights. I suppose the good thing about the higher level is that he's just going to get starched like he did against the russian. That's safer than getting hurt badly consistently in a fight.

Langford's problem is that he couldn't knock snow of a rope with a baseball bat. You could see him hitting Welborn as hard as he could but all his punches had little or no effect. I still thought he won the fight .

If he moans about that stoppage he has to have a word with himself. He must have taken 30 repeated shots over and over and his legs definitely dipped.

Eggy was gone. He had no answer to the wide hooks. He tried to counter but he had no defense.

Yeah - weird because they looked accurate, good technique and seemed to make a solid sound on TV, but - Wellborn never felt any of them.

Wowzers Eggington deserved to get stopped there, not firing back showing no regard for his defence, what was he thinking? he probably felt he could take the punches without going down but naïve from him

Hearn's matchmaker will be getting his jotters forst thing in the morning
