The American was excessively-hyped and far too old.
I got aggressively derided for challenging Mansour's world title credentials, but despite all the hatred, I was ultimately proven to be right.![]()
For sure, some people like myself expected a defeat for Mansour, but others aggressively derided me for claiming that fighter like Wilder and Whyte weren't ducking Amir.
Are you honestly suggesting that people didn't claim that Dillian Whyte ducked Amir Mansour?

Hrgovic did pretty good. He utilized his size advantage in a proper way. Maybe Mansour is getting older, but he's known for being gutsy, yet now he was frustratred enough to quit.
Re: Cornish out - Filip Hrgovic v Hardcore Mansour anounced
Not surprising. He knew he couldn't win. At 46 the want to might be there, but the physical capability just isn't. He basically quit against Breazeale too. Not that I'm faulting him...a lot of guys would quit with a broken jaw, but he quit nonetheless.

Still against Breazeale there was an injury. Maybe someone was even tougher to fight with injuries, but in this case you can't blame fighters. I actually don't blame him now, but now he is likely to be stopped only because of the opponent's dominance and nothing else.

He's 46. It ain't getting no better from here. That's guaranteed.DrDuke wrote: ↑08 Sep 2018, 20:31Still against Breazeale there was an injury. That's right. So probably this win is more important for Hrgovic in the sense of the name he defeated.gilgamesh wrote: ↑08 Sep 2018, 20:46He's 46. It ain't getting no better from here.
