Hrgovic will dominate him. He can use his size. He moves good, so he can keep Kownacki away and bomb him from the distance.

Kownacki is in line for a title fight, partly because he's not that good, but he's popular.
Hrgovic looks like a future champion in the making.
You seldom see a top guy fight the best young up and comer, unless its a sparring session in the guy,
I'd pick Hrgovic on points if it happened, but the risk for both guys is to much.

Also because he beat Charles Martin and Artur Szpilka. That's more than about 60% of recent heavyweight heavyweight title challengers had done to earn their shots; including, of course, Charles Martin and Artur Szpilka, who were actual title challengers. If that's not enough, Kownacki will probably get some more wins before he gets a title shot, and his eligibility will probably be more convincing by then.pound per pound wrote: ↑18 Sep 2018, 16:16 Kownacki is in line for a title fight, partly because he's not that good, but he's popular.

I'm picking Hrgovic. He has the greater quality. It wouldn't be easy but it would be conclisive I think.

Kownacki, Szpilka & Martin all have something in common.... They are not very good.Lackeos wrote: ↑19 Sep 2018, 02:56Also because he beat Charles Martin and Artur Szpilka. A few others who recently got a title shot are in the same boat. e.g. Molina, Washington, Breazeale...
Kow might very well be the best of this bunch, perhaps he can beat Breazeale for the WBC mandatory position (which is a joke in its own right) but... i think its fair to say neither would win rounds vs Tyson Fury and both would get knocked out by Wilder..
Hrgovic i think would be competitive with all of these guys right now. would back him to stop big Kownacki late in an entertaining fight
