He's always looking good and entertaining. For me that merits a deal.

who are his best? itd pretty lackluster tbh, even his best are just a bunch of meh guys like redkack, the bad prescott, old gamiliel diaz whod won 1 of his last 6, shopworn billy dib already knocked out by grado and ktfo by miura etc. he was also stopped by pedraza , and he though defo improved hes not fought anyone that good since

i wouldnt pick carroll over him but hes not one to get high and mighty with with resumes, and fights arent won on resumes anyway
People have different ways of defining "world level"

For me the only world level super featherweight are Berchelt and Machado.

I rate Bechelt highly but he has done nothing for a year. Machado beat Corrales who had beaten probably the best fighter in the division at that point ( Takashi Uchiyama)

I've made it clear on this forum I don't rate Gervonta Davis.
I dont how you don't rate Gervonte unless you have bias or hate. There's no way someone can rate Jono Carroll but not rate Gervonte. To me you must not rated Pedraza or Walsh. That statement I can't understand. I believe Daiv s would wipe the floor with Machado. I think he beats Berchelt. But you rate Beltchelt who has stopped before against lower guys than Gervonte but you rate him. Thats absurd.
i rate davis as an absolute stud , a special talent whod beat all at 130 and maybe even loma. but tbf i dont think berchelt losing to a guy worse then davis is necessaryly that big of a deal.

because then you could say 'man,no way will berchelt beat vargas or miura, because he lost to some guy much worse then them'. i watched berchelts loss and he just got caught cold like jack did vs edwards, but hes since shown a good chin and talent vs opponents far superior to the guy who beat him. i mean do you rank berchelt lower then the guy who beat him?

and also, if your gonna use that line, hasnt tevin farmer lost or drawn to guys not even close to world class, not clearly better then carroll, yet you call him farmer world class?

btw josh taylor aint in oharas league

The standard of opponent Carroll has fought of course he's tv friendly. Can't do that when you step up the levels. Look at Reece belotti, looked incredible against lower level as soon as he moved up a tiny bit he got chinned. To move up that extra bit you need to have that dig and power to keep people off, believe it or don't but Jono Carroll doesn't have that and will come unstuck. I like his attitude etc but he's running before he can walk. I hope he is paid well etc

Your absoulutely right but you left ONE point out. I never said I didn't rate Berchelt. My point is another claims to not rate Davis but does Berchelt and use Berchelt losing is just point why you would rate Davis as well. How can you rate Berchelt with a bad loss and not rate Davis with NO losses. Just comparing Berchelt and Davis only.

I'd hope that Carroll has Howard foster refereeing a fight with gervonte so that it gets stopped after gervonte lands the first left hand. Carroll would take a serious hiding from Davis.

ya no sh!t, doubt many think otherwise

btw i think i might go with tank over loma. i really think davis is a special talent. pisses me off how poor his last 2 opponents have been and how they look to be matching him with another small guy next. ffs get him some top opponents! he can do it. dare to be great!

His career seems to be up in the air right now judging by some of his recent activity on social media. Out of shape, arguing with Floyd over promotional and training issues. Hopefully he gets his finger out and kicks on because as you say, he's a talent. Hanging around with that prat Broner can't be good either!
