Canelo would look foolish in the build up of this fight.
But Connor would get ko' d very quickly in this fight
I have no interest at all in it

If I were any high level boxer with the chance to take on Conor McGregor I'd jump at it without hesitation. Huge payday, Easy fight. What fighter wouldn't love that?

The Powers that be in the UFC would be foolish if they let Conor do this again. He at least gave the impression that he held his own against Floyd. Canelo would beat the sh*t out of him real easy.

I don't know, where this rumor came from, but it sounds pretty impossible. Canelo isn't a retired boxer, who wants more money and attention. He's top guy fighting other top guys for the titles. It will still be a good and easy money though, so theoretically Canelo can try to insert this circus day somewhere in his schedule.

All pro fighters want more money and attention; if they didn't want money and attention they'd still be in the ams.

It is hard to imagine Canelo tolerating the kind of antics that McGregor would bring to the promotion.

Canelo obviously isn't a smack talker like Mayweather, who delighted in the back and forth with McGregor during pressers.

The brooding, reserved Canelo would probably kill McGregor during one of their promotional get-togethers.

But it's probably all a fantasy, and the rumor has no basis in fact.

Weren't they suddenly talking about McGregor-Mayweather 2 just a few days ago?

Attacking Mac outside the ring would likely not go well for Canelo.

I don't want to see the McGregor circus involved in boxing again particularly at a high level...

It's the money. Canelo loves the stuff and so does Oscar. Canelo's nips are chaffed from old Oscar's ministrations. There is no credibility in fighting an 0-1 guy.
It's just that a whole bunch of meatheads will pay to see it. Probably not as many as the Wifebeater Jr one because some meatheads may have learned.

I am not interested in this matchup because its too one-sided.

Hovewer, i would like to see how McGregor does with some B or C level fighter like:
Erickson Lubin
Liam Williams
Cedric Vitu
Sergio Garcia
Patryk Szymanski
Konstantin Ponomarev
If he wins then step up to the likes of:
Kell Brook
Michel Soro
Liam Smith
Sadam Ali

Then eventually try it at the highest level. Of course its not going to happen because its all about money.

Kell Brook, are you serious? Kell would anhilate him. Canelo would destroy McGregor, Floyd could have had him out much earlier too, clearly carried him and let him have success, never seen Floyd so happy to take punches as he was in that fight.

If McGregor beats 2-3 B/C level fighters i can see him compete with past prime Brook, Kell would be my favourite in this fight.

They’d all beat McGregor, easily. Brook would absolutely spank him

I agree with you. I just meant, he wants to try himself in boxing, then he should make it step by step. I think even those C level fighters i mentioned are too much for him. Canelo would embarrass and KO him inside 3 rounds i think.
