Hell guys at Super Middleweight and Middleweight could beat Charr
So yeah he's ready for Charr, but what mildly decent Heavyweight ain't?

I hadn't even heard of him until like 2 fights agomarvelous marv wrote: ↑10 Sep 2018, 14:04 People have been saying he will lose when he steps up for like 7 fights now, but he just continues to win. The fight to make is him vs wach, in Poland perhaps.
Wach will almost for sure fight Szpilka in november. Once he had to fight in Poland i think he had to face Ugonoh (it was before the Szpilka fight) but TV boss rejected him because... he is and looks too fat for big ppv event.marvelous marv wrote: ↑10 Sep 2018, 14:04 People have been saying he will lose when he steps up for like 7 fights now, but he just continues to win. No, I'd agree.
Solid prediction and I'd agree with you.KiwiRider wrote: ↑10 Sep 2018, 16:17No, I'd agree.
In fact when I read " another couple of fights and then a title" the only title I though that was plausably within his grasp is the pleather and plastic trinket Charr is mildly embarrassed to wear in public.
It would be a close fight, but I would pick Charr to stop him, Kownacki is just too easy to hit.
Kownacki is only 18 fights in, I seriously doubt posters were speaking much about him at fight 10. He has also been quite smart about matching him. Putting him up against semi-skilled but largely lacking power. I don't think anyone had any concerns that he'd lose to Szpilka or Martin.marvelous marv wrote: ↑10 Sep 2018, 14:04 People have been saying he will lose when he steps up for like 7 fights now, but he just continues to win. Yeh, he was atrocious in the Mike Mollo fight. Was it the rematch where he was dropped. No technique nothing.Rob3_142 wrote: ↑11 Sep 2018, 04:20 I think people were getting a little carried away with the Wilder performance before he was cleaned out.
Szpilka is not a very good boxer, and the rest of his record supports that. I was pleasantly surprised myself, but it was not a high risk fight for Kownacki. It was what I would consider a calculated risk.
Depends which Chisora turns up. It could be a terrfic battle if Chisora is up for it like he was against Whyte or Takam, there again Kownacki breazes past the pussy-cat Chisora who turned up against Pulev and Kabayel.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑09 Sep 2018, 14:02Will have to see what his ABC rankings are in a couple of days.DrDuke wrote: ↑09 Sep 2018, 13:51 To get a shot he needs to fight some top-10 or near-top-10 guys, not just any random competitors. Miller and Whyte, for example, deserved the shot more, than Kownacki. And Breazeale is about the same worthy. Considering the fact, that the nearest challengers are Povetkin and likely Fury, Miller and Whyte should fight someone else as well as Breazeale. Well, Miller already has a scheduled fight. And Adam has just fought in a hard bout. Maybe after he takes a rest and fights someone decent, like Parker or Ortiz, or H.Fury, the today's challengers will lose their opportunities, so Kownacki will be closer to a shot in a case of winning next fight or two.
Anyone reckons he beats Chisora?
TBH, he didn't do anything against Takam. Why lie.. He waited, waited and waited and then bang. landed a nice clean shot which ended the fight.
How many people can you think of could knock out Carlos Takam?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 05:18TBH, he didn't do anything against Takam. Why lie.. He waited, waited and waited and then bang. landed a nice clean shot which ended the fight.
Apart from leaning against the ropes for most of the rounds and hitting the odd counters, he didn't do anything. It wasn't really a performance. That's just my opinion.
Yes it's movers that give him trouble, fair point, but Kabayel's hardly Willie Pep is he? I'm sure the Chisora that faced Whyte would have beaten him. Just my opinion obviously.jamamb wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 06:29 guys like pulev, kaybel, and fury jabbed and/or moved him. funny how his 'uninterested' showings are vs those guys and his best just so happen to come vs guys who stand right with him.
kownacki is more of the type he does well against. put him in with a guy like hughie fury, and wed probably hear the unmotivated stuff again, when its in fact mainly him struggling with guys who dont fight his fight
i recently went back and watched footage of his legit losses, and im convinced he was actually trying pretty hard. like vs fury and pulev for example you can see him trying to press, only to get smacked repeatedly with jabs and not be able to land much on a superior boxer who isnt a sitting duck for his wide often telegraphed shots
Earlier, I already named 13 names that recently challenged for a world title despite doing a lot less. But I guess I haven't done a good enough job of illustrating that.
Really, just a few. Fighters who've already had a title shot include Joshua, Wilder, Fury, Ortiz, Povetkin, Pulev, Breazeale, Chisora, Parker, Jennings, Huck, Martin, Adamek, Ruiz Jr, Hughie, Duhaupas, Browne, etc. Plus, Povetkin and Fury are about to get repeat title shots. The only contenders who are really in a closer position to a title shot are Miller, Whyte, and maybe Kabayel.
Uh... no. That's what he would have to do to nearly clean out every other contender in the division. You might as well put a belt on him at that point, because Wilder's resume hardly looks that good.
