These were world title fights in the WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO era's. The WBC, IBF AND WBO came around very late that's why there aren't as many pre-80's world title fights between the two.

But I definitely missed a few, I'd say the margin for error is 5-10 fights. I've already noticed that the list doesn't have Shane Mosley vs Antonio Margarito for the WBA Welterweight title in 2009 in which Mosley won, and it doesn't have the Ricardo Lopez vs Will Grigsby fight for the IBF Light Flyweight title in 1999 in which Lopez won.
