Agreed. Non-users are the exception for me, not the reverse as portrayed by our media.

Drugs are even commonplace in competitive videogaming in South Korea, where the lucky few become millionaires from it. Darts and snooker players can also benefit from beta blockers if they suffer from nerves (although obviously you have to be super-talented in the first place).

Access to drugs is so easy now. I know someone who did a couple of cycles with gear bought from his weightlifting gym, but he said you can get the same stuff online. He sent it to an independent lab for testing before using, and apparently you can also find these online.

Is it Anthony Juishua? Well, he's the feckin' eighth wonder if not. But do I care? No. If he were the odd-one-out I would, but he's not. As I always say, I'm in favour of passports or open season, but not this fudge of pretending to be on top of the situ when we so clearly aren't. I'm still massively impressed by Bolt's speed, after all.

If Fury is on the juice, it does not appear to be working as his style is not really one that would get any benefits from taking gear - it does not help you develop skills and movement nor make you an awkward fukker. However AJ has a style which, if he was to take gear, would be hugely enhanced.

Or to lose weight. Or increase fitness so that he can box that way at a good pace for 12 rounds.

Not really possible to have scientific evidence unless we go back in time and Aj lets us test him every week.

Most of the public have no idea about PEDs, just what the media portrays. Do a little bit of research of how steroids work and the different types of steroids and youll realise the media is way off

sure, most of the public.

then you have tobyh who has spent decades training in the world of natural bodybuilding, including training national champions, and has an extremely good idea of what is possible for people in terms of putting on muscle without PED's. that experience suggests that it is very difficult for FULL TIME BODYBUILDERS who are extremely genetically gifted, and whose life revolves around nothing more than training and recovering, to put on huge amounts of muscle in a short period without PED's.

then you have AJ who supposedly managed this (1) without PED's and (2) whilst training as a boxer, which 'scientifically' is very difficult/impossible to do as so much of the boxer's training is not geared to either (a) bulking up via weights or (b) recovering from (a)

essentially training as a boxer should be antithetical to putting on large amounts of muscle- not enough time resting, too much energy spent elsewhere. that IS science. and yet AJ has managed it.

It's doesn't entirely make all the much sense. Bodybuilding and boxing are worlds apart. Bodybuilders will use PEDs to specifically put on lean muscle mass. Boxers will take PEDs to get stronger, faster, fitter. There's athletes on PEDs without great body's but are super strong, fast etc. Some people are naturally muscular

Obviously, I don't follow AJ around so can't comment on him either way. I neither think he has or hasn't taken PEDs but more so not because he's passed drugs tests although I know there's ways of cheating them but I won't judge a man without evidence. AJ is clearly natutrally very strong. If he was to go to that extent/expense to improve his perfomance, then surely his speed and stamina would’ve been world class, as that’s the only thing it makes sense spending money on PEDs for… not bulking up. His stamina is still pretty suspect.

One thing is to consider is the effect of any fitness training vs genetics. Looks at Micah Richards. I've seen interviews with him saying he doesn't ever touch weights. Imagine if he did

How do you know bodybuilders are extremely naturally gifted though? Maybe AJ is just much more naturally gifted than them? :maybe:

So Cristiano Ronaldo is shredded to bits, absolutely shredded far better than AJ is. His training will revolve far less weights than a bodybuilder or a boxer.

So I guess he is on PEDs

I cannot see AJ being on PEDs, the crash would be too big, the only time I think he could have been on them is during that period he had off between ams and pros.

I think a guy training every day, all day, with top conditioning coaches, top nutritionists could achieve AJs body style.

Maybe he is on PEDs but surely not to just have a pretty body?

Christiano Ronaldo in a t shirt you wouldnt know if he has ever been to a gym in his life. Aj in a t shirt is massive and has a body that would take years of specific body building training / weight lifting to get to.

The question isnt whether AJ has a body that is not possible to achieve without gear. The doubts are because of the short time frame he has gained the large amount of lean muscle mass. Especially with training for boxing which involves a large amount of cardio. Im also yet to see an explanation of his distented gut, I dont think ive ever seen anybody with a distented gut without HGH use
