Re: Jaime Munguia vs. Brandon Cook - September 15, 2018
As for the other undercard bout, Munguia opens as a lopsided 1-25 choice to blow away Cook.
Remember earlier this year when Munguia was belittled as nothing more than an unproven joke when he was considered (and quickly rejected) as an opponent for Golovkin?
Now oddsmakers accord him the respect given to boxing's proven stars.
You're fortunes can all turn around in an unexpected instant.
Munguia should endlessly thank Liam Smith for pulling out of that Ali fight

Presser Quotes
Jaime Munguia
“I’m very happy for the support that I’m getting from the fans. I feel they are drawn to me because of my style of fighting and because they know I like to give a great show to the fans. Right now, it’s just about maintaining weight and preparing for the weigh-in. I know Cook is tough and difficult fighter, but you’re going to see a more relaxed and concentrated Jaime Munguia this Saturday.”
Brandon Cook
”I didn’t come here to get paid, I came here to fight. Munguia’s tough. I was running this morning, and I saw him running, so I know he’s preparing well. This is one of the toughest challenges of my life. I can’t thank Golden Boy enough. I’m going to be his toughest opponent to date,”

Never seen Cook before, and I've only seen very little of Kanat Islam. Only fight where he's fighting a considerable opponent is that bout. I'd have to watch how he did and then speculate.

Even GGG occasionally took a step back when the Canadian threw a flurry of shots.
O'Sullivan is likely to resist the temptation to engage in a two-way battle against Lemieux, by keeping the fight at long range instead.

pretty funny. He’s better when he’s regurgitating skewed stats.
O'Sullivan may have lost, but his approach in that fight matched my expectations verbatim.
Watch the fight again and then review my words that you actually quoted.
I don't recall witnessing any attempt made by O'Sullivan to stand and trade with Lemieux.
The outcome of that fight didn't meet my expectations, but the Irishman only suffered a one-punch KO defeat. He wasn't stopped due to engaging in toe-to-toe trench warfare.
The success rate of my predictions remains particularly high. Well above 90%... and I can prove it with consummate ease.
And I bet that really pîssès you off?

really? did O'Sullivan throw a 'pumping jab with patient precision'Enlightened-One wrote: ↑28 Sep 2018, 22:43Did either of you two guys actually bother to watch the fight?

is he even able to 'throw a pumping jab with patient precision'?
i have my doubts he could do that against a heavy bag never mind a sentient human being.
never mind EO, don't worry that you tried setting a gameplan he was completely unable to carry out, being completely devoid of the necessary skill to do it.
keep on throwing out those gameplans, Cus

O’Sullivan adopted a patient approach and he almost exclusively threw the jab in that fight, but he suffered a one-punch KO, which was the very first time Spike had ever been down on the canvas throughout the entire course of a decade long career.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑29 Sep 2018, 07:32really? did O'Sullivan throw a 'pumping jab with patient precision'Enlightened-One wrote: ↑28 Sep 2018, 22:43Did either of you two guys actually bother to watch the fight?

I predicted O’Sullivan’s game-plan and he obviously failed to execute it, because he wasn’t elusive enough.
Larry Merchant once eloquently called the sport of boxing the “theatre of the unexpected”, which is a phrase that has been quoted by others time-and-time again, because no human being can possibly predict the outcome of every fight with 100% precision.
My track record is very good though!
