Liam Walsh

Post by Stuarty »

Anyone know what's happening with him nowadays? Has he gave it up? Hasn't fought in well over a year since his first defeat to Davis (no shame there). I know he and fish eyes parted company but I thought he'd have been back in about it at 135 but he seems to have vanished :maybe:

Talented fighter should have picked a portion of a world title by now, he's been blighted by inactivity

walsh to me is still a bit of an uncertanty. tbh, i dont think he really beat anyone that good, but then tank is way too good of a fighter for a loss to him to really rule walsh out from being a very solid fighter in his own right who can trouble most in the division.

would like to see him in with maybe more of a lower top 10-20 guy eventually

Another Paul Butler for me, looks good against decent guys but not against the top in the division.

I'd be interested to see Walsh v Ritson at 135 if Ritson wins the vacant Euro title. Would be interesting.

I think Walsh is good but he likes to war and would get taken out by Ritson.. Walsh would be best targeting the British a fight with someone like Paul Hyland Jnr would be the right step..

Aye I'd favour Ritson in that one. Would just be interesting to see how Walsh would approach that one.
